Baggallini Criss-Cross Bag By bdrlmoe
I own and use a Baggallini City Bag everyday. I wanted to try a new Baggallini so I decided to try the new Criss Cross bag. It is a good looking bag. The fabric looks nice and I know from experience that it's very durable. It is slightly smaller than the City Bag and definitely holds less. Here's a rundown on the pockets:

Front of bag--flat zipper pocket and another zippered wallet pocket. Inside the wallet pocket is a change pocket which divides the wallet into front and back sections. It has 4 credit card slots and one more small zippered pocket.

The criss cross pockets are identical except the one in the front has a pen loop. Each of them also has one open stuff pocket and one zippered pocket.

The center of the bag also opens. It has a small pocket (cell phone size)and one other small pocket. This is the only section where my 3rd Generation Kindle (in a flip case) will fit and still allow the bag to close.

The back of the bag has a stuff pocket which comes about 2/3 up the back of the bag. There are no key clips or tethered zipper pockets in this bag.

Baggallini is the best By Laura
Lots of pockets--so many that you may forget where you put something! Great quality as all Baggallini products. Only complaint on this one is that the strap for some reason always slides right up to my neck, more than other cross body bags. It's still a great bag though.

Sadly - it will be going back By EllieRN
I have/had several Baggallini bags...and I love them. I like the water resistant fabric and the quality of the bags. Mine have lasted many years of daily or frequent use. My current one that I have used daily for 2 years is great. However it only has one main zippered compartment with smaller compartments inside. But everything goes in the one main compartment somewhere. I thought the criss cross would be good alternative because it has 2 main zippered compartments plus a center one held shut with a magnet.

Unfortunately, the Criss Cross bag is not designed quite right.
Problem areas:
1-The center pocket does not stay closed with the magnet. It gapes open. It might work better if you don't put much in the bag, but not sure.
2- Only 4 credit card slots, which I was aware of - however, they are very, very small, narrow and tight. My Medicare card just barely fits in only one of the 4 available. They aren't quite wide enough. And you can only put 1 or 2 cards in each one. It is difficult to remove the cards because the slots are so tight.
3- the phone slot is not deep enough. I have an iPhone 4 with a case and it really doesn't fit anywhere.
4- the back 'slot' type pocket is so tight when the other pockets are full, it can't be used for much, if anything.
5- The bag just doesn't hang right. It appears to be off balance when anything is put in it. It kinda bunches up a little here, gapes there and hangs lopsided. It also feels a little heavier then my current Baggallini.

here is what I attempted to carry in this purse to give you some idea of roominess.
Small credit card case for credit cards, drivers license and store reward cards
A few business cards
Money
Check book
2 Insurance cards, Medicare card, AAA card
1 lipstick
1 sm comb
1 sm nail clipper
1 sm emery board
1 sm mirror
A few Bed Bath and Beyond coupon cards
1 small pill bottle
1 inhaler
iPhone
If you have less than that you may like this bag, but more...not so much. I could have squeezed a few more items into the bag, but it was already very bunched up and difficult to get to items already there.
I gave it 3 stars because of the quality fabric and craftsmanship. If you don't carry much with you except a credit card, drivers license, check book, small phone, money and perhaps a comb or lipstick it would probably work fine.
It is actually slightly larger than my current Baggallini, but does not hold nearly as much.

So I plan to send this one back. So disappointed.
