This a very nice case! I needed a 17" laptop case with several organizational features. I researched & shopped for 2 months before I decided to get this one, & I am soooo glad I did. I ordered mine in the brown, & it is a beautiful chestnut color. The wheels are a very, classy silver, & roll really smooth compared to previous wheeled cases I have owned. The various pockets, compartments & slots keep me from having to dig in the bottom looking for my cards, pens, etc. And a 17" laptop "does" fit nicely in this case. The design of removing the case from the wheeled cart is simple, fast & easy. The telescoping handle adjusts to a taller height then most (I'm only 5'1", so this is comfortable for me). Also, whether the case is empty or loaded, it will not tip over. The craftsmanship of this case is exceptionally sturdy.....i.e., heavier duty zippers, stronger seaming, quality construction, etc. There are alot more features.....too numerous to mention all. What else can I say, I love this laptop case!!

If you look at images 2,5 and 12 starting from the first left, Amazon depicts as if there are two types of detachable wheel and handle systems for this leather bag - one a hard plastic-back wheel and handle system and another a soft leather/rubber-back wheel and handle system. However, the product comes only with the hard plastic-back wheel and handle system, which juts out so much towards the back that you cannot place this bag with the system on top of another wheeled luggage and roll them together. Also, there is no 'smart strap' on the back of the hard plastic-back system that will go through an extended handle of a luggage below, unlike the fictitious soft leather/rubber-back wheel and handle system shown clearly on image#5. This means you have to detach the wheel & handle system and leave it at home if you plan to move this bag around by placing it on top of another luggage while you travel. And at your destination you lose the ability to use wheels because you couldn't bring the wheel & handle system with you.
I have written to Amazon about this discrepancy of pictures but I do not see any response. Please don't get misled by those pictures like I did. Buy McKlein Roosevelt instead if you want the ability of mounting the laptop bag on top of another wheeled luggage without removing the wheel & handle system.

I have been using this bag for several months and have had no problems. I'm in AZ so haven't had to use it's "raincoat" but it's nice to know it's there. Laptop, files, small ring binders and office supplies fit well in each compartment. It is also expandable if I need to add more items. Very well made and the leather is strong but soft. I have received many compliments. Would have liked this in red but brown is ok. I would not hesitate to purchase another from McKleinUSA if the situation arose.

Great toddler rolling backpack By Mateo's Mom
I purchased this as carry on luggage for an airplane trip so our toddlers would have a "job" while walking through the airport and have a place for their toys. We have not taken the trip yet but the backpack is well made, rolls well and a perfect size for toddlers. While it may not get heavy travel use, I think it will be able to withstand it because the material is thick and zippers seem decent. Our toddlers LOVE these and want to play with them all the time. Used them on a trip to grandma's house and may even consider trying them at preschool. It doesn't hold a huge amount, but good for a change of clothes, small toys and a few books. Very happy with purchase. Looks just like the picture.

Awesome bag with one serious drawback By Terracool
I love this bag. It is soft, roomy and looks great. The compartment linings are high end and give an feel and appearance of quality. The compartments are also very well thought-out so it is easy to organize, and the expansion feature makes it perfect for larger loads - it easily accommodates two laptops when expanded. It is a wider bag, but I use it for a smaller (15") laptop - the extra space at the ends of the laptop are great for carrying power cords and other small but bulky items.

But I take away two stars for one serious drawback. THERE ARE NO FEET ON THE BOTTOM. Really? How do you have a bag this nice and this expensive with no feet on the bottom. So if you set it on a wet or snowy sidewalk, the nice soft leather on the bottom of the case is sitting in the water or snow. And it's totally unreasonable to think that one could use a bag like this - especially while traveling, and the "checkpoint friendly" feature says that the desiger specifically intended it for travel - and not ever have to set it down on a sidewalk or parking lot.

Also, the bag is soft leather without shape stiffeners, so it sort of takes the shape of what's in it. This is no big deal except for the bottom that, again, HAS NO FEET. So if you have perfectly square items distributed evenly from front to back. you will have a nice solid and square bottom surface that will keep the bag upright when you set it down. But if you use it like normal people (and, incidentally, the way it is intended to be used), with a hard laptop in the back pocket and soft files and papers in the file section, the bottom is not square and stiff enough to hold it upright so it flops over onto its front or back. Front, usually, as it is a bit front-heavy. Indoors, this is a minor irritation - I find myself automatically setting it down only next to walls and desks and cabinets and other items that it can lean on to keep it upright. But outdoors? Well now when it flops over, not only is the nice leather bottom sitting in the water or snow, but the nice leather front or back is also sitting in the water or snow. And it doesn't work to lean it up against something because that something is also wet. Or snowy.

I don't know if I've ever seen a bag like this that didn't have feet on the bottom - or at the very minium little plastic or metal caps at the contact points. With feet, this thing gets 5 stars. Heck, it would get 10 stars as it is a really really great bag. Without the feet, it's 3.

If you go through your work and travel life without ever setting down your computer bag, I could not recommend this highly enough. If you do set your bag down and are willing to grit your teeth and put up with one serious design flaw, it's still a really nice bag.

I have been using this product for about a month now and I have liked it so far. It does catch the eye and I have received several compliments. It is a professional looking bag and has a lot of space to offer. This means I can put a lot of stuff into it and within no time, the bag becomes heavy. In this regard, I feel the shoulder strap is frail and not very comfortable although I prefer to carry it with the handles. The laptop compartment has a sleeve in it which is padded and I feel confident about the safety of my laptop when it is in the bag. Overall, I good purchase.

I have purchased and carried Ameribags (save the back) before so I knew they are of very high quality. The Rifton Ameribag is made really well, but it was too small for the items I need to carry in a handbag so I returned it. I wish it was about 1 1/2 to 2 inches wider. If you don't need to carry too much in a handbag, it is recommended because of the quality and the incredible organization of all the different compartments.

This is good looking well made American luggage. Top quality construction, Leather trim, great interior space with pockets and zippered space. Way better looking than Rimowa or Tumi, and is as good if not better. Has corner protection as does Tumi, and is the same 4 layer poly as the Rimowa. If you find it on sale buy it! I bought two of the 21" carry-on and the larger 28" ship thru. All for under $1200. Nice! Highly recommend this American brand.

I bought this bag to hold my sketchbooks and some pens while I'm commuting on public transport.

The construction is very good. It's well stitched. The material used is tough. The sling is wide and comfortable on the shoulder. The whole bag feels durable and it is certainly very portable.

There are five pockets.

On the side is a small pocket big enough for two pens. On front flap, there's a zipped pocket big enough for a few pens or the mobile phone. Inside, after unbuckling, there are three zipped pockets - two in front and the main compartment. The two are in two sizes, the small one can hold a mp3 player, keys, the little items, and the other larger one is big enough to hold a DVD box. The main compartment is large enough to hold a few A5 notepad.

It can probably squeeze in a point-and-shoot camera but that would depend on the size of the camera, and you have to take stuff out from the main compartment.

I think it's slightly expensive but it's well worth the money.

This purse really fit the bill as to what I was trying to find:
A smaller sized purse that had a comfortable strap that was long enough to wear across my body so I could free up both hands but still have a purse big enough for my essentials. I also wanted all the openings to have zippers.

There's four main compartments.
The main one which holds my wallet/coin purse, checkbook, cell phone, PDA.

The one in the flip back top which holds my hand lotion, pens and little notepad. When flipped forward, there is a sturdy clip to secure the flap to the main purse.
The front of the main purse has two compartments (top/bottom), both zippered to hold items like a small Kleenex pack, lip balm and the like.

The strap is adjustable as to length and is generous enough that it can be sized to fit the purse to fall pretty much wherever you want it to be.

I got the black. It is in Cordura so it is going to be very durable. The zippers are biggish and thick so should hold up a long time - very easy to grip and open/close. There is a square product label on the front of the flip top that adds a bit of color (mostly red).

I got this bag because it was the right size for weekend travel but not overly large. I don't need a designer bag so I was hoping the red label would come off easily. With a stitch remover the red label came off fast. The bag has three zipper pockets. So all items are secure, Each pocket is deep. A wallet could easily become lost in the pocket. The bag is of high quality and comes with a limited lifetime guarantee.

Originally this was purchased for an upcoming trip in which I have to fly. According to the specs, it should suffice as a carry-on bag; I really hope it is. However, we got to use it this weekend as a trial run on packing and durability. While we were packing lite, we were able to fit a weekend's worth of clothes for 2 adults and 2 kids in this garment eater. The bag expands to accommodate, but does not feel bulky. Also, as someone who generally does not use straps for bags, I have to say that I was very impressed with the included strap. Not only did it cushion my shoulder, it seemed to help distribute the weight - a main reason why I don't use straps. The color shown online is the color of the bag, and it looks great.

Recently used this luggage for the first time on a domestic trip. It was easy to pack, has several zippered compartments and was easy to maneuver. I especially liked the way you can pack to upper half of the luggage separately. It has a zippered mesh cover to keep things in place. The Brenthaven Expandable Trek backpack seemed like a great backpack when I first got it: it has a nice padded computer sleeve built in for my MacBook; it has a nice expandable compartment that can hold my camera, a few books, and a lunch; it has all kinds of useful little pockets and features.

Until the zipper went out for the main compartment I would have rated it 4 or 5 stars for sure. But since the zipper went out its now nothing but a useless dud, so thus the 1-star rating. Bummer. And that was after very little use.

I contacted Brenthaven about having it repaired, and they've provided me a return authorization #, and asked me to ship the bag to them for repairs. Ok, I will, but it is an inconvenince, it costs money, and it takes time to get it fixed. It is something that should have never happened in what is billed as a quality product. After all, my Rick Steves cheapo backpack has gone through years of hard use with nary a problem, and it was only $15. Sigh.

UPDATE: I just received back 'my' backpack from Brenthaven, and I have to say that their customer service was superb. Not only was their turn-around time incredibly quick, they actually 'repaired' my bag by replacing it with the latest model. I'm impressed. I also noticed that the new version has much more rugged zippers, as well as a few new additional features. Way to go Brenthaven! Although the Amazon rating system doesn't allow for it, if I could I'd raise my rating to 4-stars based on Brenthaven's customer service(not 5-stars because I believe it shouldn't have failed to begin with).

I purchased this bag as a replacement to the Swiss Gear Laptop backpack which I had for 7 years or so. The old Swiss Gear had plenty of space and was very functional and when loaded up wore, well on my shoulders. I searched for a new bag for several weeks, checking pics, reading reviews, and shopping in brick and mortar stores as well as online with ebags, Amazon and company websites.

What I carry:
I typically travel with 1 to 2 laptops, power units, Ipod, Ipod charger, Ipod battery backup, Headset (over the ear) cell phone & charger, work files, a book or two to read and one or two magazines, Foreign Affairs or Dwell, etc...I usually have a small bottle of advil and cough drops handy, also business cards, and pens, glasses, sunglasses, and small calculator. Lately, i have been bringing a small hard drive, and all the additional cables you may want to use with a laptop, (USB, firewire, etc...).

Bag review: The total bag construction is solid, and lighter than my old Swiss Gear. The bag has a main compartment, small fleece lined pocket, second expandable compartment, outside back lower compartment, 2 vertical zipper pockets (small), two outside zipper pockets on either side of the bag, and a small Ipod pocket on the top neckside of the bag.

Main compartment storage-> There are plenty of pockets to store all the little stuff in the main compartment but I wish the small compartments were mesh, so you could see everything, and also had a velcro closer so things do not spill out when the bag is thrown around in an airline cabin. This is also where you would store small files and books. The main compartment zipper opening is adequate, but the opening could be larger. The laptop protection sleeve is here and is superior to the Swiss Gear.

The small fleece lined zippered pocket is adequate but the real advantage here is the quick access. I wish it was 10% to 20% bigger. The second deep compartment is expandable. I use it for magazines, glass cases, small books, etc...It is useful and has good zipper access. The outside back lower compartment is where all your pens, calculator, cough drops, house keys, garage door remote ( i never leave mine in the car at the airport), business cards, and other small stuff go. I have adapted to using this very well and so will anyone.

There two vertical zippers pockets on either side of the lower back compartment and i have found useful for segmenting the Ipod cables and computer cables i always carry. The two left and right outside zipperd pockets are just large enough for the two computer power units. The two mesh water bottles on each of these are worthless and Brenthaven needs to re-design these. The small Ipod pocket on the top inside ( up by your neck area, where your back meets the pack) is a nice addition and you can run the small ear buds directly out of it to your ears while you hike or walk with the bag ( i do not use it but it is a nice feature for some).

I really like the way this pack wears on my shoulders and back. It has excellent ergonomics and is very comfortable when loaded down. I am 6' 1", 187lbs and simply do not feel sore after wearing this bag loaded down for some time. Overall this is a solid performing bag and hope to get years of use from it. The titanium and black color combination looks good too, it is a cross between business casual and urban survival.

This is the second Brenthaven Trek backpack I purchased. The first was for my personal Mac Book. When it came time to purchase one for my work laptop it just seemed logical. It has storage galore. Plenty of little pockets for storing flash drives, mice, accessories and power supplies. In fact, when going on vacation I pack both my work and personal computer in one bag. There is plenty of room for both PLUS everything else and it fits nicely on the plane under the seat.

This is a very well made bag for both everyday carry and travels.

Design is subjective thing, but, to me, this bag actually looks better than on website. This bag doesn't look like backpacks you can see on campus. The design is simple without too much accessories and decorations that can be found on other backpacks. I was looking for a backpack that can be worn with rather formal outfits. I ordered black, and I think it can be carried in any occasions.

The strap is very comfortable, more comfortable than I expected. I didn't expect the comfort I can find from the outdoor backpacks with inner frame and thick straps, but this back is still very comfortable even when quite heavily loaded. Remember it doesn't have a waist strap, which I don't think necessary.

Its compartments are well organized. I especially like laptop section and main compartment being separated. Document sleeve in the main compartment is very useful. This bag can carry a lot of items. What surprised me was that the zippers can still be easily opened/closed even when the bag is full. I don't know how the Eagle Creek designed it, but that's very impressive. Deep and wide front sleeve is useful for the stuff you'd need frequently during travels, like snacks.

Checkpoint-friendly laptop section is useful. I had to travel very next day I received this bag and this feature saved me some time in the security checkpoint (but I still hate TSA and security check. They are rude and inefficient)

This bag can be attached on the handle of your carry-on bags, that can ease your shoulder during travels.

There are two things I'd like others to know. As described, laptop section completely opens so that you don't need to pull out your laptop at the security checkpoint. This is useful, but you need to be careful, because, if the zippers are closed at the top, laptop section easily opens itself and your laptop may fall from the sleeve. I recommend you to have zippers closed from side. Another thing is the side pocket. The only complaint I'd have is the absence of mesh sleeve that can carry water bottles. However, side pockets are big enough to carry small to medium bottles, but you'd need to be careful because they don't have rubber band that can secure bottles.

Overall, I highly recommend this bag for travels and to someone looking for a backpack that can be worn with either casual or formal outfit. Also, this bag is designed with travels in mind, and you'll see what that means if you travel with this bag.

I was looking for a high quality backpack to transport my new Asus G75 (G75VX) laptop, and based on my experience with Eagle Creek luggage, hoped the Heritage Checkpoint Backpack would work for me. The backpack is very, very well constructed and appears very durable while also looking very attractive. The laptop sleeve dimensions are about 18" L x 12" W x 1.5" D or so. That should be close to fitting my laptop, but the top corners of the bag are rounded and curve inward where my laptop is pretty sharply rectangular. Between the thickness and width of my laptop, it is a very tight fit, and it doesn't seat all the way down into the sleeve. This means the top corners stick out and the bag can't zip up. I'm very sad to be sending this back, it gets five stars for me for quality, construction and style even though I won't be hanging on to it.

Worked great on my recent plane trip By Jackie Wales
I used this backpack on a recent 10 day trip and it went with me on 6 different plane flights and did great. The zippers are easy to use. There are plenty of different pockets to divide things. The only improvement I would make is to make one of the side pockets a water bottle holder. I used one of the side pockets for my cell phone and unzipped the one on the other side and shoved a water bottle into that one. I had the backpack fairly full and it slipped beneath plane seats just fine. I guess one could overdue it and have the backpack not fit if you tried hard enough. The trip is over and the pack is good as new; rugged and handsome.

I have this bag in black and love it. Have used it every day all winter long even though I have a number of beautiful leather bags. This one is lightweight, has just the right amount of pockets, and is a perfect size for me. I was thrilled to find that I could have this beautiful light color for summer. I started shopping cross-body bags after developing a nasty neck problem and finally admitting to myself that my single-shoulder bag was a culprit. As much as I was interested in leather, I couldn't seem to find *just* the right thing -- large enough for an ipad in a pinch, comfortable for a Kindle (paperwhite) always, and neutral yet stylish. Having never looked at Baggalini in person, I hesitated, then saw them in a Clark's store and fell in love with the gorgeous, shimmery colors. Even drab mushroom brown looks fabulous in this line!

On to style. I saw the Big Zipper in person, but while it was sized well, it seemed a bit plain, and the shoulder strap was narrower than I'd like. The London's styling was appealing, but from reviews it seemed an ipad wouldn't fit. Finally, I came across the Sydney and loved the look. But...it was too small. I was thrilled to find the Big Sydney. Although I feared it would be too large, it's actually a great size. When I only have my day-to-day items, it hangs beautifully, without looking awkwardly floppy and empty. When I want more in it, it works just as well. The ipad fits perfectly (I don't need a padded pocket because of my case), and (ahem) snacks and drinks still squeezed in for an outing to the movies with the kids.

As for the material: the fabric is strong, but beautiful. The hardware is substantial. As other commenters have noted, the large zipper does pull a bit, but it's easy to close as long as you pull the sides taut.

Overall, it's a fantastic bag, and I'm looking for something smaller for Mothers' Day.

This leather OGIO briefcase is well made. I bought it for my son, who is quite fashion conscious, and he is very proud to use it for work. There is a dedicated space for his 13-inch MacBook, and numerous other compartments he uses for files, and computer peripherals. The shoulder strap is comfortable. I own an OGIO backpack that I have used for several years, on numerous trips and for daily bicycle commuting. It has held up very well, and the briefcase seems to be as well made.

I purchased this luggage for a recent mediterranean cruise. This bag rocks! Big enough to fit 2 pairs of shoes and 2-3 dresses and 2 suits. My wife and I used this bag for our formal clothes. I was also able to fit all my t-shirts/pants/and socks in this bag. No problems checking in this luggage as it easily fit inside cabinets in the airplane. A great buy!

We recently purchased the Victorinox Werks Traveler and loved it! Its big enough for a weekend trip and kept the suite and dress we packed virtually wrinkle free which is the reason we bought it.
Wheels are also great and it fits comfortably in the luggage compartment of at least amtrak, yet to fly with it, but expect no problems.

This bag says it is 17.25' wide my laptop is an ultra thin 3/4" and is 15.6" wide but it takes 2 people to get the laptop in it is so tight! I would skip this if your laptop is anything over 14" wide as it is probably thicker than mine! If you can't try it out ahead of time be prepared to return it.

This is a very fun laptop case. If you're looking for something stylish and eye-catching, this is a nice option. It's nice to have the pouch under the flap to store the power cord.
I have a Samsung Laptop Model: NP-R580-JSB1US with 15.6" display, and it is a VERY SNUG FIT. I have to be very careful with the Logitech - M305 Wireless Optical Mouse Plug-and-Forget nano-receiver usb connection while sliding the laptop into the case.
If given a choice, I'd prefer the case to be a bit wider, but the laptop fits, I will use the case as my primary case, and the snug fit isn't worth trying to find something else.

My girl friend wanted to enhance her Apple lifestyle experience with a top looking accessory. I'm one of the pickiest person about craftsmanship, design, and usability details I know.

She already owns a lot of bags, so we wanted envelope formed that can protect the computer while putting it in existing lifestyle bags. We looked up and down including top brands like Moshi and we finally arrived at the "BUILT" brand.

She loved the look while I loved the design and usability of this envelope.

It has the combination of the following features that we couldn't find all together in many other brands:

- Neoprene, or other more sophisticated shock damping material.
- Separate pocket to hold peripherals like AC adapter and mouse so it doesn't get throw into the same compartment as the laptop to scratch each other up. This feature is often found in stand along laptop bags, but not in the more compact envelopes.
- Velcro closure instead of hard zipper closure that can scratch the metal finish of the PowerBook.
- Curved shape to stretch fit to the laptop.

Will consider products from BUILT again! Great design!

This bag is nice, seems sturdy, high quality so far. The included liquids bag is nice although the "zipper" part of the liquids bag seems a little flimsy, had to put the slide back on the track once already. It rolls easily.

My only real complant is that it could be a bit larger and still meet the size criteria, I think although this may be largely an issue because it has spinner wheels eating a fair amount of the available space. I'd buy it again, but it does feel a little cramped compared to my two other carry-on bags.

There is a plastic zip off makeup bag for liquids and larger snap off one. Love the tie down straps. I'm a huge Hello Kitty fan, so naturally I just couldn't resist this bag! And it's just as useful as it is adorable. It's not so overly bulky that it's cumbersome to carry around (as some messenger bags tend to be), but it's plenty big - it could easily be used as a laptop or small school bag, and it even has an organizer slot for pencils and such. The handy Velcro pocket in the back is the perfect spot for items I need quick access to but often get lost at the bottom of my bag, like keys or a cell phone. The straps are thick, comfortable, and easily adjustable. I haven't had it for very long, but so far it seems sturdy.

One thing I think worth noting is that the white background of the front flap is shiny, pleather-like PVC, which surprised me because it looked more canvas-like in the picture. (I mention this because my original plan was to decorate the empty space with lots of buttons, and obviously I can't do that because the pin holes will show up when I remove them.) But one bonus to the material is that it's super easy to clean and shouldn't retain the dirt that makes other white bags look dingy over time.

Overall I'd say it's a great buy, especially at $25. If I saw this in a retail store, I'd expect the price tag to be nearly twice as much. I'm expecting to get a lot of use (as well as a lot of compliments) out of this bag!

In the past 6 - 7 years this bag has been to Africa at least 12 times, Europe 6 - 8 times and all around the US. It has been seriously abused by the airlines, dragged around, way over packed and it is only now that I'm thinking it may need to be replaced. Still a very functional useable bag, but really beginning to show it's wear. Packing has been a breeze with all the pockets and very well thought out storage areas. The wheels, zipper and suitcase fabric are very well made. After all the traveling I do, I wouldn't even begin to think of getting another brand or style of suitcase.

Great for Pack n Play travel, tons of room By T&J
This duffel bag was the PERFECT size for traveling with my son's Graco Pack 'n Play. I had been looking for a duffel bag to carry the portable crib, because the regular PNP bag is very flimsy and has been ripped during travel. I wanted something that would protect the PNP and provide additional space for his things.
There are tons of pockets, more than you will ever need, but great for organizing all of his toys, bibs, shoes, etc. I can fit his PNP perfectly inside the main section, and it even has straps on the inside to tighten the inner contents down so everything doesn't shift around. The main section opens up very wide, not like some other duffels that have a half-moon shaped opening which doesn't allow a large item to fit in very well. There are also buckle straps on the outside to further tighten down everything in the bag and protect against the contents falling out if the zippers broke (which I don't think they would break anyways, but at least the straps can lessen the stress on them).
I usually fill up the rest of the space with his diapers and toys, and not heavier things like clothes, jarred baby food or our toiletries because this bag can EASILY go over the weight limit! So be careful about that.
The quality of the bag was better than I expected- the zippers are heavy duty, the material is thick, and the bag overall feels sturdy. It stands up on its own when upright, which is great. Also, it rolls very easy.
If you are carrying more than one suitcase, I recommend buying the Lewis N. Clark Add-A-Bag Luggage Strap - I strapped my big suitcase to the very sturdy handle strap on the duffel bag, and was able to pull both bags together easily.
I got the blue color, which is pretty and can easily be spotted on the conveyor belt.

Great quality. Excellent construction. Tons of room for your gear. Lots of pockets to separate your items. One of the few rolling duffels that can stand upright on its own, which is a nice and convenient feature versus having to lay the bag down sideways like you have to do with most other such bags. I bought this for my new 17.3" laptop. I read a lot of reviews trying to find a bag that would actually fit my new computer, and I was running out of luck. When I found this one I decided I liked the style of it so much I'd take the risk, and it was so worth it.

My 17.3" laptop fits in the laptop compartment with about a finger's width leftover. The laptop compartment is well padded on both sides.
In the flip part of the messenger bag is 2 separate compartments, which easily fits my drawing tablet. It'll probably fit files and documents easily, too. There's a zipper compartment in the front as well which has a few pockets and pen holders, and other little things. The zip pocket on the outside of the bag isn't as big as I thought, but I think it's mostly decoration. It'll fit a cellphone and a few other small electronics for easy access.

Overall the laptop bag is great. The strap is comfortable. It's not bulky or awkward. As another reviewer said, the clips for the strap are made of a mix between plastic and metal which could be built better. But unless you're known to destroy purses or backpacks, then it shouldn't be a problem.

My only complaint is that the inside of the bag isn't that pretty baby blue as advertised. It's more of an aqua green. It's not a bad color, but that was part of what sold me on this bag was the blue.

I like the look of this bag, and use it as my new work bag, taking my laptop to/fro and my daily papers. There isn't a lot of space in the bag, though -- I mean, it's rather narrow from front to back, so I have difficulty fitting much more than a couple thin books and my laptop in it. For those who were wondering, considering it's flap front, it is NOT a messenger bag, but rather a fairly stylish, slim, yough'ish looking laptop bag.

Pros:
* It fits all my 3 laptops (13.3", 15", 17") with ease (separately), and with reasonable padding.
* It's fairly stylish -- more on the younger person style than and older more staid person's.
* Easy access to zippered pockets, including the one on the front which is surprisingly well placed

Cons:
* Too thin from front to back -- it's not very forgiving, and doesn't fit larger objects with any reasonable width.
* The front flap, after a couple weeks of normal wear, is starting to butterfly out, as if the plastic / cardboard lining is out of whack
* While stylish, it isn't really "professional" looking enough to use it if you're going to take your laptop with you on a business trip where you'll be running into clients (in my opinion).
* I fear the clap which buckles the front flap to the body of the bag will eventually stretch out the nylon belt it grasps on to.
* It's wide -- I'm 6'1" and a pretty big guy, and this definitely goes fully across my back. It might be too big for some people's preference. IT took a little getting used to in my case.

On the whole, a good bag, but given the option again, I think I would choose something else.

I finally got a chance to test out this laptop bag when I traveled last weekend, and I thoroughly liked it. I have a 17-inch laptop that's plenty heavy, plus I like to take the cords (with their big power brick) and the mouse, so the fact that the bag added little extra weight was a plus. I was able to pack the computer and all its gear, plus two stacks of CDs, a fat paperback, and a magazine, with room to spare. I've always liked Caselogic products, from way back when I'd buy them for the cassettes in my car, and this bag was no exception. It can't be beat for the price.

I received this piece of luggage as a birthday present from my parents; I am traveling next month, and I could not be happier with it. I picked the lime green and love how bright and vibrant it is. I spent some time looking at luggage before choosing this one, and there are a lot of things to love about it. The wheels make it easy to move as there are four of them, and they are all spin, huge benefit when in lines. I was a little hesitant because they did not include a picture of the inside, but it is a very nice grey color, with two zipper netted pockets and a removable pouch for toiletries. At 8 pounds, I consider it a light piece of luggage to lift. If you consider the fact that it does not include a lock a turn off, than your loss, something inexpensive enough to buy by itself. I do not have a bad thing to say about this bag, it feels sturdy and well-built, moves great and is a fun color that will stand out.
