The STM Velo 2 is a thoughtful redesign of the popular namesake STM messenger-style laptop bag. As with the original, the Velo 2 offers a unique side-entry padded laptop compartment for stealthy access to your computer. The roomy main compartment includes a soft-lined pocket for a tablet and can be zipped together with the upper cover flap for extra security. The lower flap can either be secured with buckles for transport or left open for unrestricted access to the front organizational pockets. A handy, soft-lined, zippered drop pocket on the top of the bag is the perfect spot for your phone or sunglasses. Generously-sized side zipper pockets can swallow a water bottle or umbrella. The versatile STM Velo 2 offers several carry modes: briefcase style with the top carry handle, shoulder style (shoulder strap is removable), messenger bike style (includes an adjustable waist strap), or zip open the rear panel to slip the Velo 2 over the handle of your rolling luggage. A bike light attachment loop and reflective hits round out the design features. Rugged 300D polyester exterior will take a beating and STM’s limited lifetime warranty backs it up. Available in Small or Medium to accommodate 13-Inch or 15-Inch laptops.

i think this bag is perfect for me yes its a little big me being kind of short and all but it holds everything i need being a computer technician and technology guru. it seems to be very well reinforced and i don't doubt it will last quite a while. it holds a lot and doesn't look ridiculous. the shoulder strap can be a little rough but it works and it doesn't weigh to much me being such a weakling its a little bit heavy. but i have a lot in it. the side straps i don't see holding a regular sized water bottle at all i tried a small one but it was too big in diameter. it has plenty of organization trust me I'm a neat freak who would organize a jansport backpack. i like the quick release buttons for the over strap the main compartment is a little awkward in closing but opening its fine. the laptop section fits my macbook pro nicely just be warned that it can be a little tight with a shell on it. it is extremely well padded. and the iPad sleeve works well even with my semi-slim iPad case on.Solid with plenty of room for a geek traveller By ALAIN HELAILI
The bag has all the little and large compartments to store everything you need to travel with day in, day out : cables, mouse, iPad, passport, pen, books... Everything fits in nicely and is both protected and quickly accessible.
I ordered the medium one thinking more space is better, but I think the small one could have been sufficient.Great bag By Walter C Williams
My employer recently issued me an IPad so that I no longer needed to travel with a full laptop. It was a perfect opportunity to downsize my bag/briefcase to something more manageable.
I looked at several models of messenger bag and decided that the STM Velo 2 fit my needs - basically something that could carry my IPad, charger, Bose headphones, a portfolio, a few files, and assorted other things like my phone, wallet, keys, etc. I felt that the bags designed specifically for Ipads were a bit too small (and a bit purselike for my tastes), so I went with one that was designed for a smallish laptop.
Now I just got the bag a couple of days ago and time will tell on durability, but my initial reaction is quite positive. Everything seems to fit well in the bag and the side entry is quite handy for my IPad. I'm looking forward to years of good service.
I also have to add, that while this bag seems to average about $100 from various vendors, for some reason I was able to get it from Wayfair for $11.90 (before it had even arrived they changed the price to $100). Not sure what happened - was it a special order or was I just the lucky beneficiary of a typo - but regardless, thank you Wayfair for a great price.
