The Jet features a quick-access pocket for passport and tickets, keys, pen; two spacious areas for books, folders and paperwork; a protective neoprene sunglass pocket, and an additional front pocket for drives, umbrella and odds & ends. Water resistant, lightweight canvas gives the Jet a rugged look and feel and STM's new shoulder padding gives a comfortable carrying experience, even when the bag is full to the brim. Jet's laptop section is made from high density padding and cushioned felt lining, so your laptop is as secure inside the bag as you are wearing it. Rugged 300D water resistant micro ripstop polyester on the exterior plus padded straps and tuck-away waist straps. The Jet Medium fits laptops up to 15 inch screens. Another great buy By mg
I was looking for a backpack that didn't seem huge or too bulky. I am 5'4" and didn't want to look like a little kid with an overloaded backpack. This is compact, but still fits my portable (MacBook Pro 15") and necessary files. There are great compartments for the battery charger, mouse, pens, you name it. This bag is nice if you just need to carry a laptop plus a few other gadgets or notebooks. If you need to carry school books, this will not work well for you. Thus, it is not a bulky bag at all, and I feel comfortable wearing it while I bike. It has both a chest strap and a waist strap to securely fasten it while moving; however, I do wish there was a better system for holding the excess strap rather than the provided elastic bands since they seem to slip.
In addition, on my bag I had some of the stitching tear as well as one of the zippers fail. However, I simply sent a picture to STM and they sent me a replacement. So it's a great bag for carrying a laptop to work or school and STM warranty was great.Great bag! By Js
