The Medium sized GI style duffle bag is made with heavy duty canvas. The bag has one pocket on the side, which is closed with a zipper and is great for carrying any small items that you may need quick access to. The bag has vinyl reinforced pull handles on each side of the bag and also on both ends, which is very helpful when grabbing and positioning the bag. The main carrying handle is reinforced and wraps completely around the bag, creating a very secure carrying point. The handles can be held together with the attached hook and loop closure handle. The detachable padded shoulder strap is great for carrying this bag. The strap is fully adjustable and uses heavy duty brass clips and buckles. The duffle can be used to carry everything from tactical gear, outdoor equipment, sports equipment, luggage, etc.

twice burned by stuff now through this place. there won't be a third. got this "heavy duty mil spec" bag today, (after a week on three day priority,) and it's every bit the piece of cheap junk i thought i might end up with. (by the way, ex navy here, viet nam, few other places, still move around on occasion in my dotage. i've used the good stuff, and still do. yet i digress.) opened the package, and the first thing after unwadding it that i see is the full length zipper is separated on the teeth in two places, so that you can't do anything but stuff a few things in it through three holes in it and duct tape it shut if you want to try and use this high priced piece of cheap "canvas." the two little pockets on the outside aren't bellowed, so you might slip a piece of paper into them if you tried kinda hard. the materiale is cheap, thin junk, about the thickness of the shirt i have on right now, and the stitching is just plain ol' chinese assembly line thread run down it. as i type this, it is now out in the back yard, smoldering from the flames that engulfed it after a dousing with gasoline and the judicious application of a lit match. not worth wiping my... nose... with. the two old mil issue duffels i still have, one of which is about forty years old now, are the real thing, and will continue to work well for me i suppose. go to the nearest pilot truck stop, and get one of those 20 buck gear bags for drivers. just as big, and last forever. have one i bought at a truck stop in birmingham twenty years ago, have given two others away that were stilll doing it right.Great bag! High quality, good size, arrived very quickly! This seems like it will take years of abuse very well. As a civilian sick of civilian grade crap when it comes to duffle bags etc, I started looking for something that might be able to hack more then a one week vacation without falling apart at the seams. This fits the bill and is well worth the money.
My ONLY complaint is has no water resistance at all. While that will hopefully not be a hassle for me, take it into account when buying.
