This is my new bug out bag. I love the built in camel. Lots of room. I hope I don't have to use it, but I will be comfortable with it if I do. Lots of room, and all the MOLLE attachments make it versatile.Excellent By wackyboy
Backpack is of great quality. Large and removable pockets, good carrying handle, molygear attachments are solid, thick polyester protects from the elements well. Adjustment of the straps was nothing too difficult, just know you will need to re-thread them cause they ain't snug or tight from the factory. bladder is adequate; make sure you clean it before use. the sleave that holds it is seamed well. takes up alot of space in the compartment, but that's just the nature of having 2.5 liters of water in your backpack. the back padding is very thick and able to withstand punishment (it won't lacerate easily without determination). I looked online all over the place to see more pics of this bag. Many times seeing the "Advance 3 Day Combat Backpack" instead, and vice versa . Which made it a difficult decision. They seemed t be an identical bag, except one had a water bladder included.
I do not recall seeing any pics anywhere of the back (straps and back pad, if any). I took a bit of a gamble and bought this bag.
First thing I noticed, there are no inner pockets (except a bladder pocket, which is *just* big enough for the bladder itself).
Back padding was good. three pads, raise about 3/4 of an inch, to allow air flow.
The straps were also padded, maybe 1/4 inch pad...
However, the straps were completely straight, and when I did up the sternum strap, it twisted the traps a bit and it didn't look right at all. It fit better with out it, however, over time, your arm pits may get chaffed by these straps.
Hip pad is good, but attached. Not removable. They are somewhat adjustable.
Side pouches and front pouch have no inner pockets.
Comes with 2.5L water bladder, which is heavy material and large fill-hole. Has insulated hose with bite valve.
This bag is basically, a large book bag, with a water bladder. It does have MOLLE attachments, so you could make this bag better.
For the price, its "Okay".
