This is exactly what I was looking for... I have a suit carrier built into my $600 Tumi suitcase, but needed something more for my recent 2 week business trip overseas. This suit carrier is an EXCELLENT design. I was able to easily pack 3 shirts, 3 pants, a suit jacket, a pair of dress shoes, some socks and misc. things in this bag and fold it up neatly - with room to spare. NOTHING was wrinkled, after being packed for the first week without being opened/unfolded.
I love the way it's designed to look like a small suitcase when the bag folds in thirds and zips down the sides. The material seems very durable. The back side has a band that allows you to slip the suit carrier over your suitcase extendable towing handle, so you do not have to carry it. However, if you did want to carry it, or sling it over your shoulder, no problem because of its comfortable small size.

Don't get me wrong... this is a wonderful case!
The only reason for rating 4-stars is that I would have liked to see a couple of internal organizing bags on the triangular space left by the shoulders of the suits placed in this otherwise "almost perfect" garment bag. These bags could be used for toiletteries and underwear, avoiding the need for an additional luggage piece.
The tri-fold design makes it compact and easy to handle as a carry-on piece of luggage, with enough space for 3 hangers and their respective garments.

I bought this to replace a delsey that was getting to be too beat up (the zippers starting to malfunction). I wanted something that would stow easily as a carry-on.
This bag is amazing, and has exceeded my expectations (which were very high, because the price is definitely high for a bag like this). It is incredibly light and easy to carry either with the handle or the shoulder strap. It is well-made and I am sure that it will last me for 10 years or more. I have taken it on 4 trips so far. My suit and dress shirts stayed unwrinkled, even with the tri-fold, which I was worried about at first. It can fit a laptop in the front compartment, as long as you don't pack the main compartment too tight (if you pack the laptop first, then you can't go wrong). It can hang in your hotel closet in either the open or closed position. There really is nothing better out there in terms of a carry-on size bag. It probably is too small for a trip that is longer than 4 days but that is to be expected for any bag this size.
