Customer Reviews:
Okay bag. Lots of room. By aickevin
Pros: Very large, I can fit 3 or 4 phone book size books inside plus my laptop. The back padding is very soft. Seems durable.
Cons: So many things dangling from it. The bottom rain cover comes unzipped when it is stuffed full. Some of the pockets are awkward as well as the straps and zippers.A heck of a great backpack! By Backpacker
This backpack is wonderful! It holds tons of stuff, great quality, heavy material. I love this backpack, it also fits my 17.3 inch laptop in the laptop sleeve, something I couldnt find anywhere else! Can't say enough about this great back pack.Would like it a little bigger, a couple xtra features, but it does a good job By Andy S
The Backpack is nice, and to be honest there is a lot of room, but i think they really wasted some space with the rain-cover. Although if your area is constantly rainy then u probably will like this feature. I would rather use it as a separate spot for clothes or something though.
I got the green/charcoal and although the color is pretty bad (think pea soup) it was the 2nd cheapest at the time; (I got it at $40.) and much better than that weird black and white tree pattern that was the cheapest available.
I also wish it had either bottle holders on both sides instead of just one, and/or an umbrella holder on the other side.
Seems to be pretty durable but the front clip that you can strap in front of your chest ripped off with only a little pulling, Didn't really use it but I thought it was going to be a little tougher quality. Not really sure if the flex-suspension system really does anything but maybe it does. I can't really tell. And the breathable back really does not stop it from sweating that much either but I usually keep this thing pretty filled so it could be that.
I like the quick zip pocket both in the top/back for your laptop and quick access to books etc... but also the side pocket where i keep my sunglasses, 5 hour energy, things i want to grab while its on my back, That is a real time saver, although it would be nice to have a zipper on both sides for all the southpaws out there as well.
The laptop section is nice as well, i just use it for folders and easy access books but it fills up quick.
Also, it would be great of there would have been a divider from the laptop/books/files section, between the open pouch section because i have had some papers get crushed from water bottles and heavier objects i have had in the pouch section.
All in all, I know i am being picky on some of these things but i am generally satisfied with this bag and at the trade off for color to price i believe i got a great deal.
