I've tried my hand with many carry on luggage providers (samsonite, clothing brand e.g. Nautica, and generic versions) and have always found an issue with some of them whether it was longevity or poor design. My last travelpro carry on I bought was in 2000 and it lasted 12 years and could have kept on going, my brother in law tried it once and I let him keep it. Good excuse to upgrade. I typically do 20-30 trips per year for work for 3-4 days per week and that has slowed down in recent years where I was doing 50+ annually.
What I like about this one:
It just works.
It fits in the overhead.
I can fit a suit, gym shoes, workout gear, underwear and three shirts, 2 pants without issues plus all my toiletries. Basically, everything I need for a week away from home. @$100, this thing is a great deal!
If you're a regular traveler, you won't have any complaints. Plus all the flight crews seem to prefer travelpro so I jumped on the bandwagon too and haven't looked back!Not Flight Crew Worthy By Mistral
Suggesting you read the reviews of the Travelpro Crew consumer line and the FlightCrew professional line. This Inflight bag is consumer and poor Chinese quality. The zippers, frame, handle..........reflect this.
If you want the REAL Travelpro, search for the FlightCrew line. The Costco 22" Kirkland Signature is a better made/designed bag, and it's $100. everyday.
The handle broke on my Inflight during the second trip and I was forced to carry this **** for the duration.
Yes, Travelpro is a popular choice of pilots and flight crew, but it's their commercial FlightCrew line, not this ****.
If you're determined to buy Travelpro consumer, their best Rollaboard is Platinum.

This bag has now survived six months of business travel. So far, it has held up better than the others I've tried. The last carry-on I had was a Samsonite, and after six months the large zipper failed and the fabric was frayed around the edges. This bag has a few minor scuffs from baggage handler abuse, but the zippers are all in perfect condition and there is no fraying whatsoever.
