Super Safe Hip/Fanny Pack By 1940ryan
I have two other fanny packs for general use, but this is terrific for travel, areas of high population density including stores, and when carrying valuable items that we really want to keep safe. Bought for an overseas trip to carry my passport and credit cards with RFID so that those information chips would be protected, to carry most of my cash, and my medium size camera stuff. It's a little tight to get an SLR with 2 lenses inside, but it works. Great product from Amazon where I was able to compare with "similar" item.Great travel pack By David Boldt
This is the second one I've bought. It holds just enough stuff without being overly large; I keep reading and sunglasses in cases, and have room for a small digital camera and a keychain with a dozen keys, mini-light, pocket knife, pill fob and micro-compass. There are several extra pockets for organizing smaller items, of which I have dozens. It looks sharp and wears well.
It sheds water reasonably well but wouldn't stay dry inside if out in a rainstorm for more than a few minutes. (At least that was true of the last one I had)
The stainless steel cable in the strap of the last pack frayed and poked through the fabric after 5-6 years of daily use. Otherwise the pack could have easily gone 10 years. It still looked good. The zippers were in great shape even after all that use.Pacsafe hip packi By sharon kovar
I only wish this was warerproof. It holds my SLR camera and one lens on one pocket and money and misc in other. I am taking on trip to Europe. That will be the real test. I like the pockets to put the passport in that can't be read by a scanner. I use it On my day hikes and it works wl there too.
