I bought this for my shorter trips. I can get quite a bit in there. I'm 6'7" so my clothes are a little larger than the average Joe, but I can get 2 nights worth in easily. (Plus size 15 tennis shoes). I like the middle compartment unzips and becomes a one compartment suitcase. This gives it a lot of room and the straps can help pull it tighter.
However, you have to be careful. If your airline measures bags, you may not be able to carry on. I fly SWA and have no problems getting in the overhead bins.Just what I was Looking for By Felipe Montealegre
First o f all let me say that the item was exactly what was described, although some pictures were from another bag. As always amazon delivered correctly and on time. Perfect for carry on for Alaskan Airlines to Hawaii. Do not overstuff or fill it up completely or they will make you check it. You can only fill the main clothes area, not the rest of the top zippered areas. I like how it rolls. I bought one for my 9 year old too and she was able to roll it. It's not that easy to carry sideways because there is no side handle. There should be, but there are only handles on the vertical top and the top when it is laying down, not on either side. I would have given it 5 stars if it had side handles.
