I spent hours looking for a convertible carry-on bag. This one goes from rolling bag to backpack pretty effortlessly. It was great for rolling from the airport to whipping over my shoulder at metro stations with stairs only. It holds a ton of stuff, and it's really sturdy.
The only problem that arose during my many travels is that while it actually IS carry-on sized, I was stopped at several different airports because it looks bigger/heavier than it actually is. I got into a tiny tiff with a flight attendant until I heaved it into the overhead cabinet and closed the bin with ease, as she was about to make me check it until I asked to prove to her that it actually fits. And this happened two more times. I've thought about carrying a tape measure with me to prove to flight attendants that this is a carry-on bag.Great suitcase By Meredith Lewis
