I bought it for a "goruck challenge" style training (**I am not doing the Goruck challenge**). I originally bought the compact assault bag but was very unhappy with it, I took a chance and ordered the medium assault and I am much happier. This bags holds the six bricks comfortably and the straps work well.Seems to be great By Sky Twelker
Although I have not had a chance to test this bag in extreme weather, it seems to be top of the line. I have heard others call Condor Paintball/Airsoft gear, but I think it is better quality than most airsoft gear. This would be great for the average hiker, and backpacker. I use this as my bug out bag, and have a tent, sleeping pad, and sleeping bag attached via straps to the molle. And I also carry water, ammo, firstaid, MRE, clothes, and purifier, etc.OK for the price, but only OK. By Chris Norris
Have been trying this bag out for a few hours now and it's not a great bag and it's not a bad bag. It really has no internal compartments adn division so you'll need some pouches or something else to organize smaller items. The zippers are realy rough. I hope with use they'll smooth out a bit. The design of the wait strap is insane. There's basically a sleeve sewn onto the pack with velcro inside and removing it is a chore. This could ahve been better designed.
All in all not bad. I planned on using it as a work bag so we'll see.
