When this bag arrived, it smelled wretched! Petroleum? I liked it in every other way, so decided to try to remove the smell. After several days of airing out, dryer sheets & baking soda, it finally seemed okay. I happily used it on a recent weekend trip & before I made it through security at the airport, noticed that the fabric had torn away from the zipper on the top outside compartment. All that had been stored it in was my boarding pass! What shoddy construction!!! I was so upset. I had already discarded the original packaging, so now I am stuck with a ripped "new" bag. Great price, good quality fabric, lots of pockets, nice wheels, etc. The only problem this bag had was when I had to stop rolling it and do something/let go of the handle, it would fall over onto it's top. It was very frustrating when I was in lines at the airport or wherever, it would tip over and hit people with the handle I was using to pull it with. Short of buying an LLBean duffel bag, it doesn't get much better than this. There is a lot of space inside for pretty much anything. I think it is great for work, as well as travel. Side pockets are quite convenient, just when you need to slip a little something in there. Overall, lots of room, nice compartment, works very well.
