I love this bag! I bought it for my serious work commute - bike to a bus to a train. I wanted something in between a traditional messenger and a professional work bag that could handle a rough commute, and was more unique than the Incase bag my friends have. The bag easily fits my 15" MacBook pro, iPad, cords, workout clothing and shoes. It was so much stuff that I originally purchased the large Skivvy just for the extra room. The Large Skivvy fits a 17" laptop Crumpler Skivvy Computer Shoulder Bag for Laptop (SKY002-B00170), vs the Medium (this bag)Crumpler Skivvy Computer Shoulder Bag for Laptop (SKY002-B00150) which fits a 15" with a little wiggle room. The laptop sleeve inside has great padding and I don't worry about it getting tossed around. The large version of the bag was too big for me, I'm female and have a petite frame, and the additional space wasn't necessary, since it all fits in the medium!
The bright interior is fantastic, I can find everything quickly. The exterior pocket fits my iPad, and makes it easily accessible, although this pocket is not padded, I haven't had a problem with my iPad not being protected because I have a case on it. The shoulder strap is comfortable as far as shoulder straps go, but I love that the padding stays in place when I'm on my bike. The various pockets work perfectly for me; the laptop pocket fits my 15" MacBook Pro perfectly... and I can tuck a bunch of A4 sheets in there with it if need be. The main pocket is spacious and the bright inside colour makes finding things easy.
I love the strap; it's comfy even with a heavy load.
Tough construction and it deals well with light rain.
