I have tried over 7 different messenger bags/satchels. In my quest to find the ideal bag to carry my ipad mini in. I think I've finally found it. This bag is made of premium leather. It feels smooth and velvety to the touch, you can definitely tell the difference in quality. I just wanted to carry my iPhone, iPad mini, earpods, keys, wallet and glasses. All the other bags I tried were much too big for what I wanted to carry. Often I would be left with lots of empty space, which made me feel compelled to put more needless things in the bag, which in turn made the bag heavier than needed. Thickness of the bag was a big factor for me as well. The average bag had a thickness of 3.5 inches, which made them uncomfortable to wear at my side, I could only wear them on my back hip so it wouldn't hit my arms as they swayed during walks. The Visconti Neo, is perfect for me. All those problems I mentioned before were solved by this bag. It's just large enough to hold an ipad or ipad mini. It's relatively light weight and only 0.8 inches thick! So I can wear it on my side with complete comfort even when walking. I know these may seem like minor details, but they do make a big difference for day to day use. Just a quick tip for anyone considering this bag for their ipad. The main compartment closes using a magnetic button, the ipad mini fits but the regular ipad is too tall, so the magnetic button can't close but the ipad still sits comfortably in the main compartment.Quality bag that will last forever! I have to admit that I'm addicted to nice bags and probably have way too many. I love the feel of soft supple leather, and exquisite workmanship will make me pull out my wallet every time. The downside of this addiction is that I have a closet full of bags that are beautiful and fine, but not quite right. Some are too small while others are too large. Some have too many pockets and others have nowhere near enough. Quite a few have straps that are too short to carry comfortably, or that catch on my clothes or hang too low. You get the idea.
When I recently changed jobs I decided that I was going to find the perfect bag. It had to be well made - leather - with a crossbody strap and pockets which served a function in real life, not just in the mind of a designer. I was relentless in my search, and in the end I chose this bag. What a find!
This bag is made of the most wonderful leather. Soft and supple and strong. The zippers and hardware are all top quality, and the strap is strong and adjustable, and a perfect width. The best part is that each pocket serves a function. My wallet, phone, and I Pad Mini all have a secure place, and I still have room for the other necessities that we all carry. A couple of lipsticks, car keys, the odds and ends of life. Another plus is that it's small enough that I don't end up carrying the entire contents of my bathroom everywhere I go, which has happened way too often when I carry a larger tote. It's also great looking, and the price is amazing!

The quality of this bag is excellent. Long strap. Lots of pockets. It is great for running errands. If it was just a bit larger it would be perfect. It appears that this is sold more as a "manbag" but I'm a 57 yo female. It will fit a wallet, phone and a few more smaller items. The design is great and the leather is beautiful. I've purchased another larger Visconti bag and wallet.
