Customer Reviews:
Perfect Sized Duffle By the redhead mom
These were ordered to hold an adult 72hr emergency kit. I was a bit unsure of the size because the description didn't give dimensions. The bag is 10"H x 11"W x 23"L. This is the perfect sized duffle for my intended use. Holds a good amount of luggage in the large compartment. The smaller side pocket and mesh area are good for smaller items. No pockets inside the large compartment (which is fine). I haven't actually tried out the backpack straps (hidden in the bottom of the bag), which is one of the reasons I purchased this bag, but they appear great. I couldn't find much else in this size that was reasonably priced with a backpack option, so I am impressed with the quality for the price thus far.THE CARRY ON BAG THAT WON'T JAM THE AISLE By Earl S. Wolcott
For some years, I've carried a large brief case and my clothing carry-on bag onto aircraft during a variety of business and pleasure trips. Invariably, trying to carry both bags in the aircraft would result in jams and "near misses" in the narrow aisles of today's aircraft. Previously, I'd tried to place the shoulder strap on my High Sierra bag around my neck with the bag across my chest to get it above the seat backs, but this produced an uncomfortable load on my neck and shoulders until I could reach my seat. With this bag, however, I simply put it on my back like a conventional backpack, carry my briefcase in one hand and I'm able to comfortably reach my seat without jostling other passengers who are already seated. A great innovation in carry-on baggage and highly recommended!2 of 2 Just what I needed for my trip to Africa By Tasha
Perfect carry-on! :-) I used an REI 20lb compression bag to stuff 1.5 weeks worth of clothing, cocoon silk sheet & mosquito net. 1pair of wrinkle free slacks, blouse, & blazer laid flat at the bottom with dress shoes on the inside corner. I traveled wearing my hiking boots & jeans on me. No room for extras or souvenirs on return. Instead, I stuffed an empty bag for use as souvenirs carry-on bag for the return home & checked the duffle bag. The zipper & bag material held very well over my 2.5 week trip to Rwanda & Zanzibar. The elastic drawstring cord on the side didn't serve me much good; in my opinion, its more decorative than useful. However, it does have hideaway backpack straps, which was very very very useful as it does not have wheels. Upon my return, I threw the duffle bag in the washer & dryer & it still looks great. This purchase was a great bang for my buck!
