So what's wrong with grandma bags? By Amy Pagnozzi
I just had to weigh in here after seeing that the author of the prominently featured 'most helpful' negative review said this bag was one of the frumpiest she's seen, i.e., a grandma bag.
Did she look at the pictures before buying it? Even the latest Baggallinis are frumpy. The brighter colors and prints help a bit, but they're hardly adorable.
Baggallinis are designed to be light, tough, and easy to organize. They're great for travel and running around -- hand-washable, quick to dry and able to hold a ton of stuff without looking bulky.
I use one of their smallest, flattest bags when I take out the dogs and here's what I cram into it: two tennis balls, a tug of war rope, a can of seltzer, an Android phone, a large wallet, wads of poop bags, a couple paper towels, 2 bungee cords, a carabiner, a folding nylon water bowl, jerky treats, dollar store reading glasses, keys, a comb and a pen -- without breaking a zipper or splitting a seam.
If I use the Paris bag instead, I've got enough room leftover to pull a rabbit out of it. Nylon crinkle makes them tough and nylon crinkle doesn't know from stylish, it practically screams grandma -- but I don't have a problem with that when grandma's a tough, no-nonsense old bag.love this bag By sbb
I took this on a two week trip in Europe traveling around mostly by train, and it was wonderful. It is light weight and has lots of organization. Zippers keep contents secure. The zipper pulls are large with big holes in them and I used a small carbiner to lock the two front ones together for a little extra security in the compartment that I put my cash and credit cards. I kept my passport and tickets in the middle compartment with the toggle clasp so I could get at them easily when needed. It was also easy to convert from a short shoulder strap to a long cross body strap on the go. I paid ~$60 which is more than the price is as I am writing this and I'm still glad I bought it. Maybe I'll get another color for spring!38 of 39 Perfect Size/Perfect Organizer By Arleen
I purchased the "Paris" Baggallini after much research, looking for the best organizer bag for travel and everyday.
I usually carry a handbag measuring about 12 x 8 and at least 5" deep. I manage to fill it up and it becomes too heavy.
This bag measures (approx) 10 (at the widest-it becomes narrower as it goes up) by 9 x 5 deep. The two outside (double) zippers are great. One zippered side holds my cash/cards/coins while the opposite side holds my glasses (reading and sun glasses) along with small address book/tablet/pen. The large center compartment has a side zipper/pen holders and two open pockets. The strap is adjustable to the shortest or longer for crossbody wearing.
I am amazed by how much this smaller bag holds and the organization it gives. It is lightweight even though I manage to fill it up. Great color choices and a bright interior.
I highly recommend this bag and Baggalini products.
