I have owned a few diaper bags with my last baby and with this one I thought I wanted to go more "stylish" without all the cutesy stuff one would associate with a baby. If I was carying it I wanted it to look good. Well this one lives up to that! It's cute and I get compliments on it all the time. PLUS it's very roomy inside and holds all our daily baby essentials plus all of my things too! This is the most spectacular diaper bag I have ever purchased! It originally sells for $90 but I looked around and found a great deal for it on Amazon. The bonus changing pad is a nice size and the thermal bottle coozie was a plus. The pockets are deep and plentiful. And the inside lime green lining was a great pop of color for the bag. The strap is nice and wide for comfortable toting. Much more than I had expected and absolutely love it's large capacity. Great Amazon buy!3 of 3

This bag is so cheaply made it didn't last through my son's first week. I loved the design and colors but the black pattern is slightly raised. This started peeling off after just two light uses - back and forth to the pediatrician. Bummed that I had to return it but for the price I needed something much more durable.

Bought this bag for my HP Laptop which is about 14.1 inches. My laptop fits in nice and snugly. The front pocket is nice to keep a few papers but don't expect to be able to fit an entire book in there. The fabric is durable and the biggest reason why I bought this bag was for it's weight. It weighs practically nothing! I love it. It's not bulky and great for when you're on the subway. Fits right on top of your lap and doesn't knock into people.

Overall the bag is fine, and meets the description, however my strap broke within 3 weeks of purchase. The tie to the strap is where the problem lies -- made of thin material, not appropriate for a laptop bag. Funny thing is that my laptop is a really small-- under 11 inches, and super lightweight. Also I do not carry any cables, mouse or anything heavy in my bag. Still the disappointing results.

This laptop bag is great if you're looking for a slim, lightweight carrier. There's protection but its not heavy duty. That said, the quality is nice and a 15in laptop fits well. There is only one side pocket, enough for papers but no accessories.

Good for car camping By Mare Nostrum
I purchased one of this back in February while looking for something to carry some of our stuff while car camping here in Costa Rica (anyone interested in knowing a little more about camping in CR, feel free to ask). The bag is great. It's made of a very good strong material and it is waterproof which turned out very helpful here in CR as sometimes it may get very wet. We used it for the first time on a trip to the beach, and were able to place in it a tarp, a 3 person Coleman tent, two fleece blankets, and an inflatable mattress....ahh and an Intex car air pump. It has two mesh bags at the ends where you may place a couple more things (depends on how much you have place in the bag) and it also has to good handles at each end wich are very handy in order to carry the bag between two persons if a little heavy. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 stars is that the opening on the top is not as wide as I would have liked. I would had preferred if it had gone all the way from one end to the other. This would make it easier to place things in and out of the bag. Besides this, I would say this is a great bag, very sturdy even more than other bags I checked as it is reinforced by straps both on the bottom as on the sides. By the way, I purchased a second one which I hope my sister will bring with her to Costa Rica on her next vacations this month.

Easy Check In Pocket - Very nice, quality materials, as seen in the posted picture

(Rear)Middle Pocket - There are two mesh zippered sub-compartments on one side and dividers on the other. The dividers seem to be dual use... you could use them to divide clothing or papers since they are firm on top and softer below. If you didn't need extra shoes you cold fit a change of clothes here easily by using the expansion zipper. This pocket doesn't open very far, but it's tolerable.

Expansion Zipper - There is a zipper that expands the middle pocket by about 2" on the bottom so that if you were carrying some clothes you'd have a little more space.

(Front) Middle Pocket - I was very surprised to see this small padded pocket labeled as a "tablet pocket". Looks like it would fit a 10" tablet... now I need to buy a tablet!

Front Pocket - Two large zippered sub-compartments and one smaller one. Various other small open compartments of variable utility.

All in all it looks like a winner.

I switched to TP luggable 6 years ago and have never had to replace a piece yet. And I travel 100,000 miles a year domestically! I needed a new briefcase and tried this. It's amazing, like all TP products. Tons of pockets like I like it, very light, fit the hands perfectly,and the strap alone is worth $100 bucks! Best quality on the market. TP rocks! And for what it's worth, my last briefcase was a TUMI. No one ever asked me about it - how I liked it, nothing. So much for brand cashe. In 3 months I've had about 10 ask me about my TP case!

Holds my 15" laptop, iPad in a leather case with keyboard, and huge 1" leather portfolio and day planner, plus a TON OF MISC cords, eyeglass case, nix cards, etc, with easy. And that strap makes it feel like its empty. Also straps to my roll-a-board easily.

Bottom line, it looks great, very professional, holds everything, is holding up better than anything I've owned in 20 years. I don't know how they do it! BUY IT! You will be stunned at the quality and efficiency.

Bought this for a vacation cross country. Didn't want to pack a beach bag to use while I was there. It was a great price and it really did the job. Since I purchased it I have seen a couple ppl with the same bag. The inside pocket is great for keys, money, etc. Brought it home and am still using it. Love that you can see what's inside, esp with little kids at my knees I need to be quick and not digging through a bag.

Well my daughter and I liked it at first, but then she only got to use it for 5 days until the zipper teeth began to break off. Very cheaply made and not worth the money! She had to end up going back to her old backpack since you can't zip this one anymore. I wouldn't reccommend unless they begin to put better zippers in this product.

Perfect carry-on for almost all airlines By F. Li
This was used over the past year as a carry-on when I had business trips all over the world on various airliners and I have never had a problem getting this backpack checked as a carry-on. The bag is compact and if you pack tight and well, you can fit a lot of stuff in it. I used to put a laptop on the top if I was under the weight limits and it was a simple flip over to get thru security without really having to remove the laptop out of the bag completely. It has a convenient shoulder strap which is great if you hate having a backpack on your shoulders. I was able to fit 3-5 days worth of clothing depending on what I had to pack in, and there's a generous sized pocket in the front that I fit toiletries in as well as odds and ends such as wires needed for work.

Now, for the bad parts, a few airlines allowed larger carry-on than this bag by a significant amount, which results in more checked bags if you travel heavy. Also, the straps in the main compartment tended to clump clothes together on rare occasions if you were trying to squeeze as much as possible out of the space.

All minor nuances, but for the price, and the size, it can't be beat. It's rare to find a bag that is small enough to be allowed on multiple airlines as a carry-on and this bag is also near the dimension limits for more than half the airlines I traveled on which was very convenient and allowed the most use of the carry on allowed. Add in the bag's light weight and it's almost a perfect carry-on bag.

Tough carry-on backpack/luggage. By Douglas Baty
Convertible backpack - September 2012: This backpack hides its straps so it can be airline-checked. It is sized to meet carry-on limits. It is in the same category as a Rick Steve's weekend convertible, but it is a bit smaller. While it doesn't have all the hidy-holes as a RickSteves and inside dividers are delicate, it has a tougher outside fabric and will hold it shape when empty. I like it.

So far I have used it on one airline trip. I did not check it, but instead used overhead bins. It has two easy-to-grab strong handles (side and top) and comes with a removable shoulder strap. The backside has a thick pad for comfort that doubles as a loop to strap it on your rolling luggage handle. This turned out to be a handy feature.

The zippers with their tassels have held up fine so far, though I am reluctant to check the bag. This bag is a cross between luggage and a backpack. The hidden waist clips, shoulder straps, and back pad make it an acceptable backpack. The silver piping is also highly reflective for night safety. As luggage it has handles, shoulder strap, and a thick-tough outside fabric that holds it shape. A very good compromise overall.

Occasional airline traveler.

This is the perfect size for a carry on with the optional back pack straps. Only detail I question is the kind of flimsy clip connection for the straps.

I just got this in the mail, and I am very excited about this backpack.

While this backpack looks simple (which is great), it really is a feature-packed backpack.

- There are pockets galore of every size you could imagine.
- The padding for the laptop is out of this world. Thick on both sides, while having a soft, felt liner. Great!
- A removable bag that fits my power cable, mouse, flash drive and all my computer accessories, but that slides into a the bottom of the bag form-fittingly. That's really handy. (see video)

This small bag can fit a lot of stuff and remain thin. It's incredible.

The only thing I wish I could do with this bag is have a sleeve for a water bottle, but that's a small thing that most don't even use.

Also, this bag IS made for 15.4" notebooks. I have a 10" netbook. The length of my computer (side-side) happens to be the same width as the sleeve, so my computer fits perfectly when I turn it. However, if you have anything in between, it won't be very form-fitting. (see video)

Everyone complaining about this bag being too small should have read the reviews before buying it. Yes, it is very "slim." I'm a college student and I had a large Targus backpack before this one, and that was just too large for my everyday needs. When I got this bag I was very surprised at how light it really was. The construction is great. The straps are well padded, and the back of the bag that rests against your back is also well padded. One of the straps has an elastic pouch on it to hold small items like a pack of gum or keys or whatever. It isn't easy to see though, and it lies flush with the surface of the strap when it's not being used. As far as storage goes. I can fit my laptop (a 15.4 inch MacBook Pro), a large textbook, a spiral notebook, a regular 2-pocket folder with stuff in it, 2 portable external hard drives with their USB cables, a pack of gum, 2 pens and pencils (there are only 2 actual pencil/pen holders, but you can use other slots for more), earbuds for my mp3 player,the apple remote for my laptop, and a couple other small things in the main compartment itself. Then in the secondary compartment I have my laptop power supply, the power supply extension cord, a 6-foot firewire cable, my iPod nano, and the iPod connector cable. In the side compartment (where the thin gray section is on the front of the bag in the picture shown) I can fit an audio cable (1/8" to 1/8"), another audio cable (1/8" to RCA stereo), and probably a few more thin things like that. and all of this stuff can go in this bag without over-stuffing or bulging. So, for being such a tiny bag, it can really hold a lot. I've been using it for 1 month now and it has been great. (no zipper problems, tears, or anything. which is what i expected anyway.) so if you're like me, and you only have to carry around maybe one large textbook at a time and your laptop, this is a great bag. It looks good and it is quite comfortable. It's super light and has enough space for what I need.

This is a great bag if all you need to carry is your laptop and few other small items. I am using it for a 15.4" MacBook Pro, a second generation iPod Nano, WD Passport HD, a few cables, USB thumb drive. Also, a few pieces of paper. I'd never be able to add a text book or anything like that. It's exactly what I was looking for. It's small, light and the strap that goes over your shoulder is very wide. I haven't had to carry this for a long period of time yet, but I am sure it will be nice. I used to have a laptop bag with a smaller strap and after a couple hours of travel (airport etc) my should would hurt. With this bag I don't think that'll be a problem.

UPDATE (Jan 18th, 2010) - I have had this bag for a few years now. I can report that carrying this bag for long periods of time does not cause pain in my shoulder, even loaded up and heavy. The strap is wide enough that the pressure is low.

I feel it's well built, feels solid. There are a few different pockets, but they are all a little small, so I'm not sure what use they are. The area the laptop rests is lined with a very soft velvet like material. I wish the MP3 player slot was the same, but it's not, it's the same material as the rest of the bag. Also, the main zipper only unzips halfway, so that if you are wearing the bag and you unzip it, the laptop will not fall out. This is a great feature when you are at the airport and you need to remove it etc. It keeps your bag from flapping open and spilling your stuff everywhere. There is a quick access pocket in the back that is perfect for storing paperwork, tickets, confirmation info for your rental car etc. Finally, a nice handle on top, if you want to carry it without using the strap. The strap is not removable...for me, I like that, but for some that may be bothersome.

Nice but Small By Michael S. Labrow
I just got this today. I had been using a backpack with a computer compartment previous to this bag, so I'm still trying to get my mind around having so little space. I have a macbook air 13", a iPad 2, a slim Seagate backup drive, and almost nothing else in the bag, and there is barely room for the chargers. The 13" bag is small. I could MAYBE step up to a retina 13 and fit it all, but I'd probably have to take the case off my iPad. The bag is comfortable to wear even if it's a little heavier than I was expecting (again coming from a backpack with all the weight spread out vs having it in one DENSE packet changes the perception of the weight even if it's probably lower than my previous rig). I'm curious to see how this will work out long term. I'm cautiously enthusiastic right now. The bag looks great. It is comfortable to carry. The bag itself is relatively light. I'm definitely going to need to get used to not being able to carry things like a power strip with me, or any of the other extras. I guess that's to be expected when stepping down to such a small bag... I'm just surprised at how little tolerance there is in the bag, everything fits in tightly, and squeezing in anything else is like trying to squeeze into too tight clothing, everything just bulges out in what can best be described as an unsightly way.

This bag is perfect for my EARLY 2013 Macbook Pro Retina 13". It even fits the computer with a hardshell case (Kuzy brand). It is snug enough that I am not worried that it will slip easily or fumble around within the case.The padding surrounding the computer is quite sizable, except for the top where the flap covers, and I am comfortable with the safety of this bag.
The strap fits comfortably and doesn't shift around too much.
The plethora of pockets is useful. I find all of them to be easily accessible when wearing the bag.

I bought this for my husband a U. S. Army Officer. He needed to carry his uniforms to Germany. This held his heavy dress blues along with a wool coat of mine and several personal shirts and pants. It holds 2 large pr of shoes at the bottom of the bag as well and has 2 small pockets at the shoulders for socks or other small items. Once shut the bag has huge exterior zipper pockets to hold even more things! Nothing fancy just basic and well made.

I just received this case today, so if I find any issues as I begin using it I will edit my review. The case is beautiful! The red is the darker red that looks professional. The leather is very stiff, which I saw some people complain about. I like the stiffness because I carry two laptops and I want a case that will keep its shape with the weight. The padded insert fits my 17-inch laptop perfectly. I have enough room for both laptops and some paperwork. Could possibly fit a change of clothes in there as long as it wasn't too bulky. The case clips to the trolly with four plastic clips. The clips come off completely when you remove the case, so you'll need to be careful not to lose them. An extra clip is attached to the trolly in case you need it. There is also a rain cover, but it's not a very heavy or sturdy looking cover. The shoulder strap is also included in case you want to carry this case on your shoulder when it's detached. The flap on the front pocket latches in securely - it's not a magnet fastener. I'm about 5 foot 5 and the handle is about the perfect height for me. If you are tall, you might find it too short. Overall, I love this case already and am looking forward to using it.
Edit: The last bit of the handle was stuck and so I thought it was short. In fact, the handle is taller than the last bag I had. I got a lot of compliments on this bag so far. I have zero complaints!
One last edit: I have now taken the bag on a trip and it was pretty much as expected. This bag is wider in order to handle the 17 inch laptop and so it's harder to maneuver down the airplane aisle and didn't fit under the seat on my flights. I just picked it up to go through the plane and put it in the overhead. I think it's less likely to get damaged there anyway. Other than that it was great to use on my trip. I got lots of compliments on it!

I purchased this bag to use exclusively for work and to transport my laptop and a few files back and forth to the office. It has been great so far. I would caution just a tad that the handle isn't as sturdy as I would think it should be, but I haven't had any issues with it. This might be an issue for some. However, it's not like I am planning to jerk the bag around by its handle anytime on a consistent basis.

I haven't disconnected the bag from the wheels yet, nor have I used the rain protection cover. I have received a LOT of comments on the bag. I am very satisfied with my purchase and it will serve my needs.

I love the deep red color, it is dark enough to be professional inside the courtroom yet adds syle. The case fits about two one inch binders, my laptop, and small items. I do still need a purse though. I wish the wheel base was sturdier and stronger. I love using it on the wheels, in my hands, and across my shoulder. I havent tried it in the rain but I do worry rain would cause many problems.

This has to be the best backpack... EVER. Well, probably not, but for $35 bucks, it's a bet! I put my iPad, computer (15.4" macbook that doesn't fit in the laptop slot), 2 binders, 4 note books, 2 slim paperbacks (text books) and a hard cover. Now, that's not my load, I was just testing capacity. Don't buy for capacity, it's more of a storage convenience, the laptop slot is not padded as much as I would have wanted it to be, but everything else is great!
MY LOAD:
draft pencil in pencil slot (can't carry in pocket due to tip that can easily bend or break), two pens (shape fine), calculator, pulse clicker, iPad (SECOND FRONT POCKET)
Macbook (like 1 inch thick), 2 notebooks, small texts books. (MAIN)
BINDER (like 3 inches thick), slim binder (under 1 inch)

It's a comfortable load, with the padding meant for the laptop, well, it's used for my back. Hell, I have my laptop in one of the foam cases anyway... you know, in case I get hit by a car or something.

I ordered this one based on looks alone and was surprised at all the great features it had after it arrived. It was a 15 inch laptop sleep in the back, which is probably great for most people, but my laptop is to large to fit. It has to large front zipper pockets to carry books. I am a college student and use this bag to haul heavy books around. It also has many pockets on the interior for misc. items such as pens, calculators etc. and a water bottle holder on the side. It also has a small pocket at the top between the the shoulder straps that i have not yet figured out what belongs there yet, possibly laptop cords? I love the backpack, and it feels much lighter on my back than the smaller more generic Jansport bags.

My Favorite Bookbag By Picnic
I love my bookbag. I haven't had any problems with it so far. I will second that the laptop pocket doesn't have a lot of padding. My laptop is a 15.7" so it doesn't fit in the pocket anyway (I just use a laptop pocket and slip it in my bag), so I use it for my main binder. I can fit three giant college books and my laptop into the main compartment, and in the laptop pocket I put my 1.5" main binder, tons of pens pencils and a couple smaller notebooks in the outer pocket, and in the outer most pocket, I use it as a snack pocket, in addition to some other random items, since I am constantly in class or studying. There is also a top pocket up near the back of your neck, I think it's the perfect pocket for wallet, cell phone, keys, and ipod. I was a little hesitant at first in buying the bookbag offline, due to size constraints I have had in the past with other bookbags, but this is the perfect bookbag for me and I recommend it for Commuter Students.

Excellent bag but a warning By Dick F
An excellent bag with one caveat. The bag is labeled as 15.4 inch, but it does not specify explicitly what size computer it will hold. The documentation included with the bag gives the dimensions of the computer compartment as 12 x 14 x 2. I recently acquired a 15 inch laptop. Its dimensions are 15 x 10. It barely fits. A 15 x 11 laptop wouldn't. If your computer will fit into it, I agree with the other reviews for the bag. It has good quality and is designed to conveniently hold a large number of accessories and other things. If the bag fits you'll love it. If it doesn't, you'll have to return it.

As a professional, I have always preferred a backpack over a briefcase or shoulder bag because a backpack is easier to carry a greater weight. My problem was that I have always been very embarrassed carrying around a canvas bag with business clothes. This leather backpack looks nice enough that I can get away with it. It is very well made, very sturdy, and stands up by itself. It has a great, roomy laptop computer compartment and enough other compartments to separate items without being overly complicated. Very easy to access whatever you want. My only complaint (very minor) is that I wish the interior was some other color besides tourquise (dark green would have been better). Other than that, a perfect, great looking, well made backpack and highly recommended.

I bought this bag several months ago because I was flying a lot for work. Even some of the airport security folks have commented on how nice it is. I use it now exclusively instead of a briefcase or other laptop case for work. It shows absolutely no wear and will probably get even better looking with age. If something ever happens to this one I'll buy a new one immediately.

I purchased this bag for oversea travel where I knew space would be a premium. First trip was for four days and it worked perfectly. Second trip was ten days and it performed equally as well. The zip off day pack works great as a functional backpack for your laptop and magazines. Not sure this is the right bag for frequent business trips where you need to take suits and pressed clothes, but if you want to take an adventure I highly recommend.

I chose this model for long bicycle rides on gravel roads and it perfomed optimally. The reservior shifts some of the weight lower on my back and nearer the hips, which reduced fatigue on my shoulders. The side pockets allow for easy access to food or other items normally stored in back jersey pockets (although I was still able to reach into the back pockets of my jersey, surprisingly). There is a small pocket on one of the chest straps which also allows for easy access to small items while on the go. I highly recommend the Octane.

My daughter uses this bag for all her dance shoes - five pairs in all! It has lots of pockets and is good for her schlepping all of her dance things back and forth to the studio five days a week. The only drawback is the smell when the bag first arrived. I had to air it out and I also used Fabreeze on it - inside and out. It still smelled a little for the first few weeks, but went away after that.

I decided to find a small carry case for my ultra slim Macbook Air, something to compliment its slim size and not be such a bother to carry around like my existing backpack. As luck would have it, walking around the Geneva airport on a trip home, I found this case that was simply ideal.

The coloring is unique and tasteful. The logo is cool. The inside compartment is roomy and protective enough for the MBA's protection. The other thing I was looking for was a small and unobtrusive compartment for carrying a couple of cables and charger, this one has on in the front that is just the perfect size.

I was looking for a new bag to carry my Macbook Pro. For daily use, I also carry several files and my lunch to work. When I travel, I would use my computer bag as a purse, so I need room for a wallet, small make-up bag, keys, water bottle, etc., and maybe a sweater. I liked the company's story, as it appears to be started by a young woman social entrepreneur who is providing employment opportunities in her native Thailand, where the bags are manufactured. This is a nice-looking bag, and seems like it will be durable. It has two pockets on either side of the main compartment that can be used for narrow files or notebooks. The main compartment is divided by the padded laptop section and a deep interior zipper pocket. My main complaint is that none of the compartments is wide enough to be practical for carrying purse items and other items for daily use or for travel. If you need a good bag for a laptop, a few peripherals, some files, and notebooks, it should be good, however.

I went back and forth about which bag to order as I wanted something in colored leather (not basic black), professional looking, durable, and roomy. I believe I picked the prefect bag!

I have only been using it for 2 days, but already have had numerous compliments! It looks amazing (I choose red) and it fits everything I need to carry: laptop, cords, folders, pens, and some extra supplies. I was worried about other reviews saying that the handles were tough and the leather was tougher than they expected. However, the bag that I got was packed well and the handles came perfect. The leather on both the handle and the bag itself is beautiful and soft as you would expect from a bag. I bought this to carry my tablet. There is space for an actual laptop, but there is also a nice pocket for my tablet. The bag is not as heavy as others say. It is leather and leather does weigh more, but the bag is so beautiful! I've gotten many compliments already...even from stangers!

I've had Bagellini products in the past & like the product. I've been looking for a cross body bag big enough to handle my life, yet not too heavy, and in a nice neutral color that doesn't *look* like nylon... it's got to handle some bulky items like smart phone, hardcase wallet, wraparound sunglasses, water bottle... I finally thought I'd found the bag! But there are NO zippered pockets here. A gal's got to have a deep closeable pocket inside for a collection of small makeup-type items, and to keep them clean and organized... nope, not in this bag. And while the "stuff" pockets on the outside are handy, they should at least have a little Velcro spot to keep them closed enough for stuff to not fall out when you dump the bag on your car seat. The little wristlet that comes with it is a GREAT idea for a big bag like this, but it does not fit a smart phone - at least, not a Droid. I had such high hopes for this bag - I've been shopping a long time. So close, yet so far!

Great Bag! A New Favorite... By M. Long
I purchased this bag recently when it was a Gold Box deal through Amazon. While the sale price was the big draw to purchase it in the first place, I am pleased enough with the bag to recommend it to others even when it may not be on sale. It was a steal at the Gold Box price, and it would be a great value at its full price as well.

What I Love:
- Sturdy and well-crafted. All of the stitches are still holding strong (no frays)and the pockets and zippers are well-constructed. The strap is not unlike a seatbelt fabric which may not be the most attractive, but it definitely is going to carry a lot of weight without snapping.

- Bright interior lining. (I bought the charcoal color that has a bright magenta interior that just pops). It's fun and pleasing to the eye.

- Long shoulder strap. This was a must for me when I was looking for a new purse -- I like being able to put my purse over my shoulders to keep my hands free and bag secure.

- Outside pockets. These turned out to be more convenient than I thought they would be. It is great to have lots of pockets/compartments in a bag. It's even better to have lots of ACCESSIBLE pockets/compartments on a bag.

What I Like:
- Thoughtful components like the key fob, lipstick holder, credit card slots, etc. I took the included coin purse out of my purse because it took up too much space in there, but I do like the coin purse and may use it separately, or put it back in when it could be handy.

- The option to turn the back pocket into a "sleeve". I haven't used it this way yet, but I could see it being handy when traveling.

What I Could Do Without:
- The material is "crinkle nylon" which seems like it would be water-resistant (at least that is how it is advertised). I haven't had to test it out yet. While it's definitely not unattractive, it does give the bag a more casual look. I don't mind it, but it did look a little different from what I had expected based on the pictures on Amazon.

- The bag is smaller than what I had expected based on pictures. Yes, I saw the dimensions listed and drew a picture in my head based on that, but it still was smaller than I expected. It is large enough to hold a good number of items, but when I think of a hobo bag, I think of something much larger. Still, I am able to hold all of my necessities and then some in it (i.e. wallet, iPad, phone, small notebook, pens, chapstick, tissues, Tide pen...and that doesn't include what I can put in the outside pockets.

Overall, I recommend this bag as a casual, daily purse. I am even considering getting another in a different color!16 of 16

I got this bag for the gold box deal for a little more than the half price. Love the material, which is very light-weight and sturdy, and you can wipe off the dirt. So many pockets are helpful while traveling, and love the outside bottom zipper to access the stuff in one of the outer pockets. What's not in the pictures is the inside of the other side. I posted a pic so you can see, but it has cell phone pocket and a pocket, and 2 pen holders. Your stuff will be totally organized in this bag!!

This is a great bag, the leather is nice and soft - yet durable. Inside pockets are lined, expands to be considerably large. The only thing I would like better: when you unzip the expansion, the inner compartment (one that houses the laptop) gets larger... it may be nice if the outer pocket (one that has the file separators) would expand. For example, if I have a bottle of water I would rather put that in with the files than the laptop, but aside from that it's a very nice bag. And, I suppose it does make more sense for the inner compartment to expand because that has a flat bottom so you can fit more in there.

I love the bag but the zippers are driving me crazy while I walk. It would have been nice if they came with a little rubber coating or zipper glove to supress the noise.

This is a really nice bag for the price offered by amazon as opposed to the original retail.
The color is a very nice typical leathery dark brown and the feel of the leather is soft and soothing.
It fits my 15 inch mac book pro nice and snug, with about half an inch to spare on each side.
The other section holds a book or two with a few paper files without bulking up.
I would recommend it.

This bag is more pinkish than Amazon photos depicted, but I like it more because color helps hide dirtiness. :D

I carry a MacBook Pro 15" in it, fits well, and the shoulder strap makes it very comfortable to carry even though the laptop itself is heavy. The bag itself looks very sleek.

Add-a-bag sleeve: If travel with luggage, this bag can also be slip on a luggage handle, added convenience.

Size-wise, think of it as a fitted skinny quality laptop sleeve case with handles and a shoulder strap. It can't carry much more than a laptop, the power cord, and a 20-page letter-size document. There are 2 side pockets, but too small to put a Calculus textbook unless no laptop in there. One of the side pockets also includes a slot for a smart phone (4.5 inch or smaller). As another review said, it does not have lots of small pockets to organize small stuffs, such as cosmetics, a wallet, keys and you name it.

The only thing I am not sure is the "decorated tag with mirror" from the product description. I can't find this mirror in the package. If it's an Anna Sui decorated tag with mirror, I sure want it!

Overall, it's a lovely fitted lightweight quality laptop bag for everyday use, but it can't carry lots of documents.

The cushioned compartment is too big for my MacBook Air, and the pockets are too small to hold various 'purse' type items. I'd prefer just use this laptop bag and not have to bring an additional purse. In the pocket I put a small wallet, sunglasses, reading glasses and Chapstick and it's nearly impossible to zip closed. Otherwise the bag is perfect in quality and construction. The color is a deep purple and true to the photo.

The backpack itself is great. It's compact and sturdy, and rolls very nicely; evenly balanced.

As a laptop backpack, it's terrible. My laptop, a standard 15 inch laptop, and the backpack barely closes if otherwise empty. It doesn't close at all if it's pretty full. It might be OK for a large netbook or a small 12 or 13 inch laptop, but it's not useful anything larger.

Love the easy touch pull up bar. The bag is on the smaller size, but perfect for my 4th grader. The capacity seems very good.
I am actually going to buy it for my 2nd grader too - I just wish this was on Prime shipping and I didn't have to pay the shipping twice. My son has been using it for 2 weeks now and can't begin to say how fun it is to roll this along.
I got another Jansport rolling backpack - which is awesome, but this Nike one is way too stylish. A+++

i have traveled widely through two decades and this carrier tops all others -- a durable big, open, easy-access void for you to fill that folds back into its slim envelope when not in use (and that envelope doubles as a soft briefcase when it is). the backpack-style strapping is the clincher for ease of carrying -- particularly for the pack-man fast-walk through the terminal. if you didn't make a sausage of this bag, it still fits overhead (their smaller sizes are more obvious) and if you're ponying up $$ for checked bags, this is the one. i'm in love with the simplicity -- canvas, zipper (with oversize pulls), straps and that's it.

I frequently fly with a small child. I was delighted to find such a big duffel that could be worn backpack style, leaving my hands free to carry him and push the stroller or pull the suitcase or whatever else you might need hands to do.

It was even roomier than I imagined when it got here and fairly comfortable to wear as a backpack. The very first use, the small plastic piece that attaches the strap to the bag broke off. It was rendered completely 'unwearable' and lost the padded handle strap
