Pros: Roomy, lots of pockets, 2 big compartments for files and stuff, fits under airplane seat, big, lightweight (until you stuff it full), comfy on the shoulder, fabric instead of leather (easier to keep clean and unscuffed)
Cons: Big (but that is also a pro!), unstructured (if you set it on a desk or on the floor it will fall over)
I really like this bag. I like that it is lighter than my old bag. My old bag was heavy before I filled it! This one is lightweight, but like I said above it is unstructured so it will fall over if you set it down and fail to lean it on something. I had to take this off my shoulder to walk down the aisle of the plane (otherwise I would have conked someone on the head). It fits my laptop, which I believe has a 16 inch screen, but it could handle a larger one easily. If someone had asked me everything that I wanted in a bag, this would be it! I travel a great deal, domestically and internationally, for work and always carry a Samsonite rolling computer case and a very large purse. I was looking for a bag that could combine the function of both bags in one and this is it! It is Samsonite so the quality is excellent. I love how resilient, durable and most importantly, light weight the bag is. I've already taken one trip with it. I was able to fit my large laptop, ipad, wifi gadget along with the accompanying cords as well as a neck pillow, files, 2 bottles of water and I eventually stuffed my lightweight raincoat in there as well. It not only zipped, but held everything in an orderly way, everything was still accessible and it was comfortable to carry. It was weighty, but balanced and comfortable. I have only 2 suggestions for improvement for this bag. 1. four little feet on the bottom of the bag or a firmer bottom to protect it when it needs to be set on the ground and 2. the straps that are intended to wrap around the handle of a roll aboard bag could be beefed up a bit to keep it better balanced on top of another bag. Since it's soft sided it doesn't always sit upright, especially if a the laptop inside leans one way or another. Overall, I'm am exceedingly pleased with the bag and highly recommend it!Nice bag By Travtan
The color isn't exactly as it looks in the picture, but it is still a pretty purple. The inside is nice and the iPad compartment is roomy enough to hold the iPad with its case. Very happy with purchase.
