Smallest bag that holds: everything By Peter Burkholder
I often carry a MacBook Air 11" back and forth to work, so I was looking for new bag that would be as small, light, comfortable and fit only the things I needed to fit (so I wouldn't be tempted to weigh myself down). After an exhaustive comparison with TimBuk2 and other bags at a few outdoor stores, I settled on this one six weeks ago and I have been thoroughly happy with it.
A few pro tips:
1) The bag does not have a cross-strap for stability when biking, so I attached a light-weight carabiner and purchased a $7.50 TimBuk2 cross-strap which works perfectly
2) I suspect this bag will not work out well in the rain since there's no zipper or other closure across the main compartment.
3) The stiching on one of the straps started to fray after one month. I contacted MountainSmith customer support, sent a photo of the problem, and they mailed me a replacement strap right away. Good service.
Lastly, I love the bright yellow lining. It makes it so easy to find things.
P.Great Bag! By Olga Erickson
I love this bag! For months I kept buying bags, when I got them they where to big or to small. This bag was the perfect size for what I was looking for. I wanted a bag that I could carry my ipad and extras. I love all the different pockets. I am not afraid of my stuff falling out, its pretty secure. I really like that I can carry a water bottle on the side pocket. This bag is well designed. I plan to buy another color. The perfect Man Bag By T. Nettles
This is a great "messenger" type bag. The thing I like but didn't know when I bought it was the size. (It's not nearly as big as it appears in the picture so beware) It's definitely not BIG enough for a laptop. But thats OK, Its perfect for your wallet, keys, phone, maybe an iPod or tablet, multi tool, first aid kit, food, Etc.... I thinks it's a great looking "ManBag" ..... Holds all my stuff if I'm going to the gym, or if I'm wearing gym shorts with no pockets. And it's got a nice handle strap at the top so you can grab it and go. Also, I'm 6'5" tall 300lbs. The strap is long enough so It still sits below my waist for comfortable carry. I got the green color which looks really good.
