This was my first airline trip in a long time. My friend advised me what to carry on - one overhead piece and another to go under the plane seat. This duffle filled the bill perfectly for under the seat. It held so much, including my neck pillow, iPad, toiletries, slippers, paperback, snack, even the purse that I removed when I landed in LA. Now, it is folded up to a 6"x6" bundle and stores easily. Love the color.
