Love Kipling bags. The quality is very, very good. This is my third one. I liked the first one so much I purchased two more in different colors. This bag has everything I could want in a bag without over doing it. The compartments are just the right size, the bag is lightweight yet sturdy and the zippers open with ease. I hope someday I will own this bag in every color! This particular bag is very beautiful with the greens and blues . The shipping on this bag was super, super fast! I've been a big Kipling fan for years. This is one of the prettiest patterns they've ever put out. Everyone will stop and ask you where you got it, it's a show stopper. The Alvar is so easy to use and I have other Alvars in different colors,they are my favorite model. Two large compartments that open on top, inside the main section is a zippered pocket, two pen holders, one pocket I keep glasses in and another pocket that hold my ipod or cell phone. On the front of the bag is two more zippered compartments. When I'm driving I don't have to even take my eyes off the road to look for something, just reach in a grab it. No digging around, you know right where things are. I also prefer the Alvar because it isn't a deep bag so when wearing the shoulder strap you don't have some fat bulky bag resting against your side. The strap is so adjustable you can carry it as a purse, lengthen it for a shoulder bag or lengthen it more for a cross over bag. Kipling bags can be washed if they get soiled, they last for just short of forever and everything from the quality of the fabric to the zippers is top notch, made to last. It is even prettier in person than the picture, a spring and summer must have :-) If you look around on the web you won't find a better price than here on Amazon, I've looked.Kipling Purse By amazon.com user
I love this purse. Very lightweight. Has four zippered pockets -- two large, one medium, one small. Also a zippered pocket inside the largest zippered pocket. I felt as though I could organize my items and find them very easily. I like the crossbody style of it (optional). I used it on a month-long trip to Spain and had no worries about pickpockets or having it ripped from me. People have complimented me on its looks. I would definitely look for another Kipling purse when I am ready for a change -- maybe when winter comes.
