Strange but beautiful tote bag By R. E. Richter
This tote bag incorporates a detail from a da Vinci painting. (I think it is the Ginevra de' Benci, the one at the National Gallery of Art in DC. [...]) It's strange to have the straps run up the figure's face, but somehow I don't really mind it. One thing that might not be clear in the picture is that there is a big zipper on the top. When zipped up, it is like a rectangular suitcase. I use it to store newspapers that I intend to read (at work) so that they are not in piles all over the place. I like it! I am purchasing a second, identical bag, because I love it so much. The first bag is at least a year old and gets daily abuse - and still holds up! I especially like the large, easy to glide, zipper on top, which secures things on public transport or just from curious eyes. Outstanding product, great price/value.
