I was so pleasantly surprised when I received this bag.
This case is really lite and very attractive looking. It would be hard to tell that it's a camera/tech bag. I think this point is most appealing to me.
I like that I can use this as a traveling tech bag and or pack clothes for the weekend. This comes with an insert that is removable. The insert holds all my tech and camera equipment. I totally love that it holds my tripod! I never have to forget it again! This also comes with a separate mesh bag and other small carry-all (as shown in the video) and Although, I don't have extra lenses, it is great for organizing what I do have. Everything fits and there is plenty of padding.
When I take the insert out, I have enough room to pack for a weekend trip. And still carry a laptop (up to 14 inches). I love how the laptop section is held by straps that are secured to the lid so that if I open this up standing up all my stuff won't come tumbling out. The straps can be unbuckled so the lid falls flat too if you prefer that way. However, I would lay the case flat to open if you plan on carrying your camera and sensitive equipment.
I love the handle, it's easy to hold and secure. The wheels ride smooth on the ground and turn well.
Overall, this is the perfect bag for me and I look forward to using this on my next adventure.Best thing..... the removable compartment insert! By ☺ Ratso Rizzo ☺
The most interesting thing about this bag is that the compartmentalized insert can be removed thus lending way to a versatile bag. It does not always need to be a photo trolley, if you don't need it as such.
The bag is attractive, and yes, it is lightweight, not bulky, not too high, nor wide. The hardware (zippers, wheels, straps) are quality made. Using the trolley is smooth, easy to use, easy to operate. It's important for these features to be smooth.
Whether the padding for the laptop compartment is adequate, I don't know yet. But, there seems to be enough room in case you need to add a little pad.

I had to wait about a month after receiving this to get to put it to actual use, versus just looking at it and opening all the compartments. I was called to an emergency out of town meeting and had to hurriedly pack this little case and hop on a plane. My impressions:
* I was initially surprised by how heavy this is. Given that so many people these days prefer not to check a bag, so try to carry everything they will need in one small bag, I thought the trend was towards lighter-weight luggage, but this is surprisingly heavy empty.
* When I first opened it I was confused by the inner liner which is compartmentalized, wondering where I would put my clothes. Then I read the tag and realized this is a really smart move on the part of the manufacturer. The inner lining is attached by velcro to the case, so can be removed. It would allow someone with gear to carry - like a photographer - to safely store and carry the bits and pieces of the equipment, yet for someone wanting to pack clothes and toiletries, it can be removed to function traditionally.
* The wheels. From hard experience I have learned that a suitcase is nothing without decent wheels. The wheels on this case are large and appear to be made of quality materials and attached well. The bag rolls smoothly and easily on asphalt, cement, tile and the indoor/outdoor carpet favored by airports.
* Pockets. There are lots of them. I especially like the built in laptop pocket that allows me to go through security without having to remove my laptop and put it in a separate container. This made going through security a breeze!
* Handle. A push of a button releases the handle and it has multiple positions at which it can be set and locked in place for taller or shorter people. Another push of the button releases it to be retracted back into the case for stowage. It has worked flawlessly so far, and the handle itself is comfortable when pulling the case behind me for a long trek through an airport.
* There are a couple of features I have not yet explored. Apparently it comes with a "rain cape". This is not something I imagine I will use often but it is a fun touch. I have yet to pull it out of its little bag but it takes up so little room that I did leave it in the pocket in which it was originally stowed.
I travel quite a bit and in the past have had cheap luggage that falls apart, or the wheels don't hold up to multiple uses. This bag feels far better constructed and I look forward to using it for a long time.
