The back pack is light and has more space than I expected. I could hold much more than my three large technical books. There are cinch straps at the bottom that keeps it tight. The pack is wide enough that i could fit my books horizontally.
The padded laptop pocket fits folders perfectly. I am sure it could hold a laptop but I have not tried.
There is only one outside side water bottle pocket. You can see it in the picture. That pocket is not mirrored to the other side.
The middle zip pocket has a felt lined slightly padded tablet pocket.
The outer most zipped pocket has an array of pockets about 6. These pockets fit my Galaxy 4 (biggish cellphone) in its protective case perfectly. One of the pockets is separated to hold individual pens.
It feels like quality material.
Negatives
The spot for a bike light faces down unless the cinch straps are all the way out. (not an issue for me)
There is no key clip on a strap.
