Excellent quality leather. Appearance and color dead-on with online photos. Metal clasps, buckles, etc. all function and appear to be good quality. One nice feature is that when you use the shoulder strap, it does not smush the edges of the top flap, as with many accordian-style cases. Also, the shoulder strap, which is not pictured in the online photos, is nice matching leather with a good shoulder pad. Only one complaint: The shoulder strap could have been longer; I am 6'-5", and even at the max strap length it hangs at ribcage height, rather than hip height.OK By trublu

The bag I received in Cognac color has brown stitching, not the contrast stitching as shown in the picture. The pictures of this bag are greatly enhanced; it is a nice bag, but the metal polish does not pop, its rather flat, and the brown is more of a darker tone than shown in the picture. Overall quality is pretty good, but I am let down a bit versus impressed.
