I went through a bunch of bags before I arrived at this one. I wanted a simple and small to med size black (work friendly) backpack with a side pocket for water, organizer, and preferably a pocket for a tablet in addition to a laptop pocket. This one covers all bases. The backpack is very well made and appears to be using a water resistant (unconfirmed) nylon. It has tricot lined pockets for both a laptop (up to 15") and a tablet. There is also a small lined pocket on the side for a phone or music player, but it seems kinda useless being so small. The backpack is perfect size, not huge where it would be uncomfortable on the train, but large enough to fit all my stuff and then some. It also doesn't have a lot of those annoying features most backpacks seem to come with these days. Things like sternum straps, insanely padded back, and other useless straps all around. I was looking for a minimal backpack to put my laptop in and a few cables and then be able to hop on my bike. This back works perfectly, its not too bulky and yet still has plenty of room to put a 6 pack in it.
