As far as the construction goes, this backpack seems quite sturdy. It has adjustable chest and hip straps for stability. it also has front to back straps to compress the volume if the pack is not full. The sections that are padded are quite sturdy, and there are loads of pockets. A semi-hard pocket is on the outside for easy accessibility of sunglasses or a small electronic device.

Unfortunately, the chest strap will not go high enough to avoid pinching a female chest, and the straps over the shoulders are way too broad for me. Also the shoulder straps are too long for my shorter torso and cannot be adjusted to fit, even at the tightest adjustment.

This would probably be a great pack for a gentleman carrying an ipad or laptop, but it just didn't work for my short torso and fuller figured frame.

I was really expecting so much from this backpack. Having owned lots of Thule products for my vehicles, I assumed their backpack would be made to the same high level of quality. I was very wrong.

I have owned other cheaper backpacks by Swiss Gear, Targus, and Samsonite which all looked and felt much better. This feels about the same quality as a cheapo Jansport backpack with a little extra padding. Except for the inadequate padding in the bottom of the backpack. I cringed when setting it on the ground as I could feel my laptops smashing onto the surface.

The material which this backpack is made is thin and I question its durability. Think $10 backpack at the local walmart and that's about the quality of this backpack.

The straps are barely padded and the handle is just about the same.

Zippers, while metal, do not open and close smoothly. Upon first opening the backpack, some of the material was already caught in the zipper and took a few minutes to rectify.

Buckles, Buckles, and more buckles to go with the numerous straps.

Not very roomy but will accomodate a 15" rMBP and 15" monster HP laptop at the same time. But not much else!

Packed up and on its way back to Amazon.

I have yet to be disappointed by Thule products...why? Thule makes quality, durable products that consumers need. Yes, you will spend more money for Thule products but I can't see what there would be to complain about.

This particular back pack is built for a 17 inch MacBook Pro/10 Inch tablets. I have an older HP Pavillion that fits just fine, along with an iPad and Kindle-all these (and more) fit fine in this bag. Not to mention there is plenty of room for all the "extras" people take with them. I use this bag for commuting to and from work and errands; I use it for a few extra books, chargers, water bottles, phone, sunglasses, sun block, and lunch. The pack holds all this and there is plenty of room for more.

The pack itself is heavy nylon; it feels thick, not a cheap thin material that might be more apt to wear holes in the bottom or sides. The metal zippers and straps are heavy metal, not plastic where there might be a higher chance of breakage. The back of the pack that is against your back is padded, so even if you are hauling a heavy load, you have less chance of something poking you in the back when you shift. The pack also has stabilizer straps to keep the pack in place. I personally do not use them, but I know my kids find these can be helpful when biking or carrying heavy loads. The best part of the pack is the "Safe Zone" located at the top front of the pack. It is perfect for a phone, sunglasses or camera because it is made with a hard outer shell that keeps items inside from getting smashed. I love that they thought of this AND it works perfect and is easy to get too.

Whether this is the exact "design" you are looking for, keep Thule in mind, I have yet to have a problem with their products. I know I sound like a salesman, but the products truly are quality. I have not had to call customer service or file any sort of complaint with the company. So I cannot report on how well their customer service is at this company. Hopefully, I never will need to call them!

Bought this because I needed a bag that would fit my 13 inch work laptop, yet lightweight and compact enough not to get in the way of my morning commute. Lightweight, made of durable ballistic nylon, has lots of pockets for knicknacks. The smallest drawback I have noticed is the zippers are made out of clangy metal that clinks and chinks with every step.

I had originally purchased this bag (except that it is the black and white plaid design one) in late March 2011. I had left a positive review here on Amazon under that particular bag, but now I have run into a problem with the bag, and Amazon will not let me edit my review as they are not selling the design that I purchased at the moment. Therefore, although the design of this one is different, the brand, size, and features (two front pockets, two side pockets) are all the same as the one I have, so I felt compelled to write another review and let fellow Amazon buyers know my issue with Rockland.

As I noted previously, I purchased the duffle bag in late March 2011. I thought the bag was great, as all aspects of the bag seemed to be sturdy. However, no more than 6-8 uses, and less than one year later (on March 13, 2012), I was packing for a trip. I had eight shirts in the bag, went to pick it up to put my curling iron in it, and I heard a tear! Upon further inspection of the bag, I noticed that it had tore at the seam on the left side (a good size tear, I would say about 5-6 inches maybe). I went to the store and bought another bag for my trip, since I was in a hurry, I didn't have time to shop around for one that was comparable to the size of the Rockland duffle bag that had tore, but I thought "I'll suck it up and use the new one now even though its much smaller, and deal with the torn one when I get home, it has a warranty".

When I got home, I decided to try and take care of the problem, no big deal, right? WRONG! I contacted "Fox Luggage" (apparently the makers of Rockland), and they emailed me the warranty claim form. On the form, it noted that I had to send them the bag back so they could "inspect it" and ensure that it would be convered under warranty, along with $25 for handling. Well, I didn't expect them to ship me a new one without seeing what had happened to the one I had, and I didn't expect that they would ship me out another one for free either, but I thought $25 was outrageous seeing as to how the bag costed me $20 here on Amazon last year, and the same exact one that I have is on clearance at Target for $14.44 (as of 4/3/12)! I emailed them again and told them that such a warranty would only benefit someone who purchased one of their more "higher priced" luggage sets, and it would do me, or anyone else that had purchased this duffle bag (or even the one with wheels) no good. It wasn't surprising that I never heard back from them.

Now normally, I am NOT the type of consumer to "complain", (particularly for a $20 product that I can now purchase for $14), but I was very disappointed in the way Fox Luggage handled this. The bag that I have has NEVER seen an airport, bus or train station, it has only seen the trunk of my car (6-8 times as noted previously). It still looks BRAND NEW (except for the tear on the side), and even smells brand new! Had I got a couple of years use out of it, and at least another 6-8 uses, I probably wouldn't be here, but I feel that I totally got ripped off, and their customer service was not very good either. So much for the compliments on my bag, I wonder how many I will get now that I tell everyone that Rockland (Fox Luggage) was so unhelpful.

In closing, I truly wish companies would not boast about their "warranty" unless they are willing to [fairly] follow through with it for each customer who purchased their product. Regardless of whether the bag was $500 or $14, it's only fair that the company ensure that regardless of how much each customer spent on their product, they have a fair opportunity to make use of the warranty that is given should they need to. But, I guess according to Fox Luggage (Rockland), only those who purchase higher priced products are worthy of being able to fairly take advantage of their warranty-what a shame. I will never purchase another Fox Luggage product again, and I will be sure to share my personal experience and opinions about Fox Luggage (Rockland) to anyone who is willing to listen. I went ahead and purchased the same bag again from Target for $14, but I will be returning it tomorrow as I will not knowingly support a company that makes a 3 year warranty one of their major selling points, and instead uses it to disadvantage its consumers a second time.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift. Cute bag, however, After only ONE use, the bag start too pull away from the zipped. No worries right because it has a three year warranty right. WRONG! THERE IS A $25 S/H charge. The bag was only $17.

this luggage is awesome. its a good size for a 2-4 day trip, lots of pockets to put smaller stuff in. the color pink was a little darker that i was expecting, not to darker so dont worry about the color. there was one thing that did not see on the bag was on the over the shoulder strap, there was no little shoulder padding thing. BUTTT!! no big deal i just thought it was funny that they didnt have one, overall tote is AWESOME and would buy it again.

I bought this bag 2 months ago and was really pleased with the size and quality of it. The zippers are nice and there is plenty of storage for my laptop, papers and other items. Today I threw it over my shoulder and the shoulder strap pulled out of the bag. The stitching is very minimal at this important stress point. Consequently I can not recommend this bag.

This carry case is a nice way to carry your laptop on a trip. It has plenty of room, is light weight, and easy to carry. I was able to fit all my accessories in it. It includes a nice storage compartment that fits an i-pad, kindle or similar device. I have my travel charger and my headphones in as well. Finally it has a compartment where you can put file folders, a magazine or two, or other thinner item of that size. Excellent case!1 of 1

Nice enough case, and very nice for the price. But the ring on the case that attaches to the clip of the shoulder strap ripped out under normal use (pulled the fabric strap right out of its stitching). Laptop and all, splat on the hard floor of the Atlanta Airport transportation mall. Of what value is a nice case architecture, when the construction can't hold what one might normally put in it? Looks like a turn-key design - made to look like what it is supposed to be, not actually be it.

Great bag for overseas travel, felt secure By L. Ruhlin
I traveled to Paris, Brussels and Amsterdam and had this bag with me the entire time. I'm glad I did.
Pros:
Good size, I have a bad shoulder so I couldn't take too much - this will fit quite a bit, but I wasn't able to STUFF it full which was actually good for my shoulder.
I used the velcro pouch near the top for my camera, and it was GREAT because it was Always there, and always accessible. I could get those quick shots cuz I didn't have to dig around for it.
i used the front pockets for things that I didn't care about getting stolen, chapstick, snacks, headphones, pen etc.
I used the front locking pocket for my money and tickets to metro and events for a few reasons. My friend also had this bag and she was pick pocketed in Paris - listen to this as it will hopefully help you. She had a separate change purse where she put her bills/money, metro tickets and one credit card and drivers license. Well, she took that change purse OUT of this bag, opened the change purse, took out money, paid for something, put the change purse BACK into the larger main compartment, did NOT zip up the bag, turned to talk to me, and that is when we think someone must have been watching her NOT zip up the bag and reached in and took out the entire change purse.
So, I kept my money loose, in the front zipper / locked pocket in the front, and always locked it. That way, my hands were inside of the pocket, looking for the money that I needed and when I was done, I just zipped and locked it. I never took anything out of the purse, so they didn't see what I had. I also kept my credit card and ID in the little id pockets on the very inside of this purse, not in anything seperate, which I felt very safe with as they would have to know where to pull them out from, deep inside. I had my passports and the "extra" larger bills and money/cash etc in my hidden money belt around my waist, tucked inside my pants - I would highly recommend one of those.
Anyway, the only CON to this bag was the strap. I had read the reviews about it being uncomfortable to wear, so I wore it at home and agreed. I made a "sleeve" to go around the strap, with a strip of memory foam padding from an old mattress topper that I had. I covered the foam in a stretchy black material and made another loop and put it around about 18 inches of the strap. It kept twisting on me, but after putting a few safety pins to hold it in place, I really liked having it. it was all black so you couldn't see it - and my shoulder really appreciated it. I never got a back ache from wearing it.
Another thing I would recommend is to buy a collapsible water bottle that you can fill up because it fits nicely in the back zip pocket, and when water is gone, it is flat and adds no weight or bulk til you fill again.
I also used the carribeaner clip to clip this bag to my chair a few times. OVerall, great bag, except for the uncomfortable strap, which can be fixed by putting on a little pad.

First: I ordered this purse around 5 pm on a Thursday evening and it was delivered on Saturday morning - and I only paid for standard shipping.

I bought this purse for a European vacation I have coming up. There are things I need in my purse that I can not live with out but I could not find a compact purse to fit it all. As soon as this purse was delivered I began to unload my "regular" purse and EVERYTING FIT. I used this purse all weekend to test it out and see if it really worked as well as I hoped and IT DID! I got this bag because it seemed like a happy medium between a sleeve and a shoulder bag and was the only one of its design that I've seen online. It is minimal in size like a sleeve, but has 3 pockets and a strap like a usually much larger shoulder bag.

I got the Gray, and upon arrival, it was much shinier than I expected. It seems like it would hold up well to spills and be easy to wipe off. The strap when adjusted to the loosest setting is not quite as long as I would like. As a guy, I prefer to cross-over my bag, but even when it's not crossed over it comes level with the top of my hipbone. However, replacing the strap is easy enough.

I was unsure of the size of the pockets from the picture but the two largest ones are just as wide as the bag and go all the way to the bottom of the bag. The smaller pocket is lined with soft fabric and comes a couple inches from the bottom. Adequate space for headphones, charger, papers, even a tablet and more. The actual inside sufficiently padded with about 5mm of neoprene padding and is also has the soft lining. One thing to point out is that the product images show the back pocket running vertically, but it's since been changed to a horizontal pocket, which is actually probably better so nothing falls out as this pocket has no zipper closure.

The brand logo is minimal compared to other brands and gray in my bag and not black like the product photo. All in all it's a nice bag. This bag was originally designed for the MacBook Air 13 (13.3 inch) so my Dell XPS 12 (12.5 inch) has a little extra room but it's not bad.

I can't believe I've had this laptop bag for 2 years now... let me tell you, it has held up well and I still get complimented on a "cute purse".

I have a giant laptop to lug around for work, it's thick and heavy and not at all feminine, this bad totally fixes that for me. The front compartment for attaching to luggage handles works great as a pocket for items I need to get to quickly so I often have pens, my wallet, phone, and maybe some makeup in that pocket. This bag carries everything I need so there is no need to carry an additional purse, and this often includes file folders for work... If I can carry all this around with me and still look fashionable this is nothing short of a miracle.

I researched a series of laptop bags based on the following needs:

*Not too wide but not too slim. I wanted a bag built for a 13" laptop but not overly slim since I also need it to fit 1-2 books at any given time, besides the laptop.

*Internal organization, i.e. pockets and pouches.

*Pullman handle port. This was essential.

*TSA-friendly was a nice bonus but not essential.

The four I compared were the Timbuk2 Control (Medium), Timbuk2 Command (Small), STM Velo 2 (Small), and the Ogio Pagoda (Small).

The Timbuk2 Control was the smallest of the batch: 16 x 12 x 3.5. However, it was also the most slim and that ruled it out. The Timbuk2 Command was next in size: 16 x 11.4 x 5.5. Very good dimensions, TSA-friendly. But lacked much padding for the laptop and had minimal organization. It was also the most expensive of the four.

The STM Velo 2 was very attractive: not TSA-friendly but had the Pullman port and the most internal organization features. It also had a special side-loading, thick padded compartment for the laptop. It was, however, the largest of the batch: 18.5 x 14 x 6.7

Mind you, that's the *small*.

The Ogio Padoga ended up being an ideal compromise. At 17 x 11 x 5.5, it was similar in size to the Command but had better internal organization. Like the Velo 2, it had a separate, padded compartment for the laptop but unlike the Velo 2, it was TSA-friendly. Best of all, for the stone-color model, it was $60, by far the most affordable of the batch.

Now that I've gotten it in person, the only real critiques I have are very nit-picky.

1) I would have liked a more functional handle. There's only one handle and it's awkward to use it for anything but lifting the bag from it's "butterflied/TSA" mode. While I realize this is meant to be worn like a messenger bag, the other bags had better, practical handles for toting the bag around when not slung.

2) I would have liked a touch more organizational features, more like the Velo 2.

3) The separate laptop compartment takes some getting used to because it's not intuitive that, to access your laptop, you don't actually need to open the main compartment of the bag. Unlike the Timbuk2, you don't even have the option to through the main compartment or a special zipper. With the Pagoda, there's only one way to access the laptop and it's behind the main flap. I'll get used to it eventually.

That said, I'm happy with the Pagoda. Right size, right features, right price.

A solid bag with some minor quirks By TemporalDecay
I'm a college student, and I was looking for a messenger bag that I could use for school. I just wanted a decent, small-ish bag that has a laptop compartment, some organizational features, and decent strap since I bike. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase, and below is a very long, detailed review of why so.

The reasons why I did not go with, say, a Chrome bag or a Timbuk2 are price and Velcro. Those bags, especially Chrome bags, are much more expensive. (Though rightfully so, if I may add.) Those other bags also use Velcro as a method to close the flap, something I'm not fond of personally. Velcro is very loud, and it tends to slowly tear up the surrounding area over time.

One quick note, the S version of this bag does not come with the deluxe strap that Ogio features in its product video/third photo with the man in orange. That is present in the M and L versions of this bag. The video does show that the Pagoda S comes with a standard strap. But the product description can be a bit ambiguous, and it only tells you in the video for a few seconds. You can somewhat see the standard strap in the other two photos. The standard strap works fine though, and it does come with removable padding that is fairly comfortable. The bag fits snugly on me (I'm a skinny guy for reference), which is a plus because my previous messenger bag had too long of a strap to ride comfortably with.

That said, if you bike a lot for commuting, I would suggest one of those other bags or at least the larger versions of this bag for the assumingly more comfortable deluxe strap. Those other brands do have better features for bikers, such as reflective straps or cross straps for better weight distribution. But I personally did not need those other features, and the fit is comfortable enough for my biking experience to be fine.

This bag also has more design features for travelers than bikers, given the TSA friendly laptop compartment and the Pullman handle port. I have not had the time to test those out, but these features do stick out relative to other messenger bags I've seen. Definitely something to consider if you are a frequent traveler.

I like the separate laptop compartment. You do not need to open up the main flap in order to access it. You open it from the back of the bag. The padding for it is nice, and there is some degree of padding on the bottom. Not a lot, but more so than most other bags which tend to ignore padding the bottom. I don't see the dimensions listed here on Amazon, but the official site says the laptop compartment is 15"H x 10"W x 1.5"D.

The organization panel in the front is decent, but it could be better. More specifically, I'm half confused as to the purpose of the three "card holders" in the middle. I suppose they can fit business cards and gum. Maybe a subway card or such. But I imagine if you carry business cards, you would use a personal business card holder. I feel like that space could have been used better, but it is a minor gripe. For dimension reference, the pocket on the left does fit a portable hard drive comfortably, and the pocket on the right fits a scientific calculator with depth to spare, though definitely not a graphing one. A glasses case for the right pocket is pushing it. I am being conservative though, as I do not like over-packing a bag to where it starts bulging.

The water bottle holder is decent. It definitely seems like it was made to hold those 500mL disposable water bottles. Height wise, it goes up just past where the label would typically be placed on the bottle. It is extremely tight, which is a good thing because it prevents the bottle from falling out constantly. (A problem I have with other bags, including an Ogio backpack I also own.) That said, you'll probably have trouble trying to fit anything larger. Taller, perhaps. I actually already have a bit of trouble trying to get a regular water bottle in there because it is so tight.

The access pocket on the front flap is a bit small. I can fit my wallet and my flip-phone in there just fine. I imagine a smartphone and wallet would fit just fine as well. Like I said earlier, I am conservative with my estimates. That said, the straps holding the front panel are a bit weird. You can tighten and loosen them, but they are too easy to adjust. I can hold onto the buckle with two fingers, pull slightly, and the strap would loosen. I suppose this means you can loosen them to access the front organizer contents without having to unbuckle if you wanted, but I wish it was able to retain a lot more strongly. The actual buckles themselves work fine.

The tablet holder is padded. I have a 7 inch tablet, so I cannot say how well it fits a typical 10 inch one. It does seem to be sized for the standard 10 inch tablet size, especially since it is advertised to be an iPad holder. But there is no way to close the tablet holder, if that bothers you. It does feel snug enough to where unless you open your bag up, turn it upside down, and shake it, your tablet shouldn't fall out. I have no intention of testing that, especially with a 7 inch tablet that doesn't take up the whole space. There is a large, zippered mesh pocket on the inside of the main compartment. Other than that, there is no other internal organization.

Oh, and the bag does stand on its own, even when the main compartment/laptop holder have nothing.

Would I buy this bag at its retail price of $90? No, I don't believe its worth that much. At that price, I probably would have gone with a Timbuk2. But at the cheaper price I got it for here on Amazon I say I got a good deal.

All in all, I think this is a solid bag. It is a compact bag with some good organization. It is fairly well designed, minus a few quirks. I'm happy with my decision, though only time will tell if it holds up in the long run.

The travel organizer can be worn several ways, depending upon one's preference - around the waist, over the chest or over the shoulder. It's sized to keep all important travel papers (passport, airline tickets, hotel information, etc.) plus money and plastic. There's also space for a pad of paper and pen/pencil. I purchased this originally thinking it was larger but it was a very nice size and after using it for about 2 weeks on campus (I've owned it for about a month and a half, having packed items in it beforehand) it holds up to the Victorinox name. This backpack is very much worth its price unless you need to carry a large amount of items or very heavy items. Here's what I carry daily:

iPad and Charger
Apple Wireless Keyboard
Kindle Fire
Pen/Pencil carrier
Calculator
Spiral Notebook
Folder for various papers

The backpack also has a small pouch that is hidden by the flap that holds items like cards, keys, etc... I keep some Tylenol and other over-the-counter medicines, small pack of tissues, a bottle of hand sanitizer, and my folded up schedule (that I've been looking for haha)

There is also a pouch on the inside of the backpack that you can keep chargers or other various items. The backpack feels a little odd if it's full carrying it across your shoulder but it feels perfect if you just drape it over one shoulder while walking.

Overall it's a 5/5, it's well-built and carries all of my necessities.

I'm a frequent traveler (10 hour flights most of the time) and nowadays even rolling totes are a thing of the past in always crowded passenger's planes and over head compartments. I like to take my valuables with me to avoid loss and this bag is it! First of all, the bag alone is very lightweight and as you store your items in it you can tell it's so well thought out. It has quality written all over it: zippers run smooth, easy to clean with a damp cloth, leather rolled shoulder straps, leather and metal tag to engrave your name on it and leather trimmings in all inside pockets plus leather finishings in all zippers. Mine is purple and the inner linning is of a light salmon color so you can spot what you're looking for much easier. In the main compartment I carry all I would need on my regular purse plus merino socks and a jacket for after dinner when the plane gets cold. Of course my kindle is there as well as my computer and so are my noise canceling headphones. The 2 outside zippered pockets carry my camera and the cell phone. There's a zippered sleeve pocket that is great to carry your passports, plane tickets, and the such. Inside this sleeve pocket there's a zippered compartment lined with fleece for your jewelry. The back of the bag has an opening made to fit on the handle of your luggage securely. I could go on and on bragging about this bag but I think this is enough to help you make a better purchase.

I use this bag to put my gym clothes and shoes in so I can hit the gym on the way home from work. It would fit a towel and shower kit. I like the water bottle holder on the outside - I keep my refillable water bottle there so I always have a water bottle at the gym. The separate shoe pocket is great, but it does fill some of the inside of the bag so it does not give you any extra space. It does give you a place to put your shoes so they will not touch your clothes and get them dirty. The handle on one end of the bag makes it easy to slide in and out of the storage box at my gym. Small enough so it fits nicely on the floorboard of my car behind the driver/passenger seat. Two small pockets on one side are great for keys, cell phone, and mp3 player. Happy with my new gym bag.

Five stars... not perfect, but worth five stars. What is not perfect about this...you say??? The shoes (in my case) need to be inserted before the contents of the bag, otherwise the shoes are a pain to get in. I have adapted and the bag is great. Looks good, holds what I need (including a water bottle) and seems to be made very well.

Barely fits an iPad By rexchargerbolt
I got this bag primarily for carrying stuff while biking. It's got enough space for small items like cellphones, wallet, chargers etc. My iPad barely fit on the 2nd compartment, I had to angle it i little bit but I was able to close the zipper on it. The front compartment is really small, but does have two compartments inside. The strap has a small zipped space for smaller cellphones, if you have a larger smartphone, it wont fit on it. I have an iPhone 5 without a case and it fits just right. The thing that really impressed me was I could rotate the bag in front of me to access my stuff without unstrapping or taking it off my shoulder. Overall, I recommend it for everyday carry items.

This bag is perfect for a day trip walking, hiking or biking. I bought it for a vacation trip that my wife and I would be doing a lot of walking on. This bag held our camera, drinks, snacks and even a light jacket - no problem. The construction is durable. The color is more of a camel brown than the mustard yellow in the picture. The only dislike is the front zipper pouch is too small for current smart phones. Overall a great bag though.

When I was looking for a duffle bag I was very concerned about the quality of the bag and how well it was made, as well as the price. I was completely amazed at the quality of this floto bag. It was clear that the stitching was very well done, and the leather is very nice. It is made to last for a very long time. I was more than pleased. It's a steal at this price!

I wanted to help potential customers so I'm taking the time to write a review.

The leather on the actual bag is very nice. It's a soft buttery calfskin but I'm a little thrown off by how blindingly shiny it is. It's not a matte look like in the photos.

The strap is awful... the shoulder pad on the strap is a small piece of tough leather which hurts your shoulders. The strap band itself is very thin and has a cheap feeling to it.

The metal rivets holding the handles together are of cheap hardware.

All in all, you're paying for the body of the bag. The stainless steel hardware is cheap so I don't expect it to last very long (though they say it's covered by a life-time warranty). The stitching is pretty good. The strap is what makes this a $200+ bag rather than a $300+. If you're already spending close to $300 I'd advise looking at a Jack Spade.

I bought this for a two week business trip to Europe. It's really a beautiful bag and holds a ton. I was in eleven different hotels, twelve planes, trains and everything in between - and the bag went through the paces splendidly. I would definitely purchase a Floto bag again. Amazon's prices are the best out there for this item.

I just received 3 of Balboa Baby's bags. Everything is better than I imagined. The duffle is very roomy, the tote is super tall and the changing pad and velcro attachment for keys/cell phone in the messenger bag is wonderful. There is great attention to details of the construction and the accent materials for the inside pockets is a nice touch. I love the softness of the quilting too and that they can all be machined washed and dried makes it perfect for baby/family use. I highly recommend these over any of those "trendier" bags out there!

Amazing bag love how many pockets there athawed it fits alot of stuff. My husband is willing to carry it around because it doesn't look like a baby bag. I got it for a little over $60 and when I found it in the store it was 119. The first day I looked for it, it was 75 the next day it was 60 and the day after I bought it went back up to 102. I had been using a 20-year old Bass heavy canvas messenger bag with leather trim, but it was very faded and started to develop wear and fraying on the bottom, so I needed a replacement. After weeks of searching and comparing dozens of messenger bags online, I decided the OGIO Captain best fit my needs.

This product exceeded my expectations and for the price is an awesome deal. I've only used it for two weeks, but the quality of the leather, zippers (heavy duty), lining, and construction seem to be very high with many storage options inside. I only have one issue (this kept me from giving the product a 5-star rating): the top parts of the bag bulge out from the flapover, exposing the inside contents and lining to the elements; you can kind of see it in the product shot, but it's a bit more pronounced in actual use. Personally, it would have been nice to have the shoulder strap clipped on rather than permanently attached, but that's just a "wish" as most of the time I use the shoulder strap.

I absolutely love this bag. Very well-made, and the perfect size to carry everything I need for my newborn, my three year old and myself without being too big. This bag has three inside pockets for bottles, an inside zippered compartment, a velcro-closure compartment on the back, and a zippered compartment on the front (where I keep all the "mommy stuff": wallet, phone, daily planner, things like that.) It also has two side pockets, and comes with a changing pad, insulated bottle holder, stroller straps, and a wet bag that I use to stash a couple of diapers and travel wipes to grab for quick trips into the grocery store. This is a really great daily use bag. While not as sharp as the similar interior Tumi 24232 bag on the outside, the interior is as functional. I think this is the perfect size bag for daily travel to and from the office. There is a front pouch for smaller than full size items such as checkbooks and letters to mail. The next compartment holds pens, a hard drive, some usb drives, cellular modem, etc. The next partition is enclosed with a zipper allowing for confidential items to be carried. The next portion is fuzzy and padded at bottom and on the sides for a laptop. The back compartment is for documents and expands quite a bit if necessary.

There is also space on the outside in the back that can be used for a magazine if the bottom zipper isn't opened to slide the bag on top of a wheeled suitcase. The downsides are no dedicated pouch in the pen compartment for business cards and no hook for keys. The strap is functional, but not special. I would not try to carry over a 15" laptop in it as the handle, strap, etc. are not heavy enough to carry that much weight for very long. However, for the functionality and price this bag cannot be beat.

The craftsmanship and quality of the leather briefcase is great. My husband has had many compliments. It has a cushioned middle compartment for a laptop if needed or room for lots of books and supplies. For convenience sake it does come with a shoulder strap.

I bought this bag on-line without being able to get a feel for the actual size and quality. It turned out to be perfect for what i needed it. Great quality and very practical. Provides tons of extra room and that feel of a high-end item. You can find tons of cheaper bags but not of the same quality. Highly recommend if you willing to pay the price.

Spacious, well made and functional. Heavy nylon outer fabric, with a fabric liner on the inside, bottom of main chamber is a web material with a plastic barrier. This makes it see thru, so you can tell what is in the bottom compartment.

The trim and straps are NOT leather, its a vinyl product that looks like leather. This brings up my main concern with the bag, durability.

I will put it to the test no doubt.

The bottom compartment is a nice feature, although, not the easiest to access if you have the upper loaded as well.

All said - I think I overpaid for this bag, it was listed at $89, had this been in a retail setting, I would have thought that was overpriced. As a bag of similar build and materials, should be about $50.

Quality cases from Samsonite By David Barron
My wife and I travelled to the USA to stay with family and ordered 2 of the 28 inch case plus 1 of these 20 inch spinners as carry on for our return journey to the UK. The cases are a quality product and look fantastic in the Blue Slate colour. These cases are lightweight and highly manoeverable thanks to the 360 degree turning wheels. Excellent quality at a very reasonable price for Samsonite.

Ideally I would have bought the super lightweight Comsolite cases from Samsonite but they are 3 times the price for minimal difference. TSA locks are easy to use too. These cases are made of polycarbonate which to the uneducated can appear flimsy - rest assured they are tough and hopefully will last for many years to come.

They are perfect too for a long weekend away and we have used on several occasions since. Buy and you wont regret it!

Good construction, easy handling, but not my ideal bag for this size By LyinLyon
I own this suitcase in black, along with its 28" matching "sister". Bag will arrive in a cardboard box only slightly larger than the suitcase with minimal packaging. While I LOVE the 28" large version of this hardtop suitcase, I'm less enamored of the smaller, carry-on size.
Pros:
1) 360 degree spinner wheels make it very easy to push or pull this bag. You can roll it on 2 wheels (like a traditional wheeled suitcase) or on all 4. When I need to transport 2 suitcases at once, I find it's very convenient to be able to push this bag next to me with little effort.
2) It's a nice looking suitcase set. Black is high-gloss so it stands out from all the matte black bags, but it isn't overly loud. This bag will show some scratches from TSA if you check it, but the high gloss does a nice job of reflecting the scratches so they aren't that noticeable.
3) It's very light-weight. This 20" is obviously pounds less than the soft-sided, nylon bag I had purchased previously (and still own). No problems with lifting this bag into the overhead compartments on planes.
4) This bag does have an expansion zipper so if you need a little more room, you can upzip that and give yourself another inch of depth.

Cons:
1) While the split, side-by-side compartments is a great feature on the largest, 28" version of this suitcase, it's not very convenient for light packing. I'd rather have a small bag that opens to reveal one, deeper compartment so that I can stack up my clothes and easily pack larger or deeper items (boots, gifts, etc.). Other people might not mind the split, side-by-side packing for a small bag, but I think it's a negative in this size.
2) My bag has one wheel that squeaks slightly. Probably needs only a small adjustment, but it's annoying that I have to deal with any such issue on a new bag.
3) There are no external pockets on this. I never use the external pockets on a larger, only-to-be-checked suitcase, but I found on my latest trip that I missed having an exterior pocket on my carry-on bag. Again, others may not find this to be an issue.

On my most recent trip, my boyfriend used this bag. He was able to pack the following with no effort at closing the 20" bag:
- 1 pair men's dress shoes (size U.S. 11)
- 2 polo shirts (size large)
- 1 dress shirt
- 2 pairs of shorts
- 1 pair of dress khakis
- 3 pairs of socks
- underwear
- hairbrush
- small toiletry kit (about 8" in length)15 of 16

Got this for my husband for Christmas. He loves the "messenger style" because he rides the train so this is an easy bag to get around downtown with.
