compact but flimsy By S. Mongano
Overall I'm very happy with these, they are really compact, about the size on an egg, so I always have one with me, even in my tiny wallet-purse. They aren't full size shopping bags but big enough for that 2-3 item grocery stop, a few library books, or a couple of segmented takeout boxes. Also the fabric is a bit stretchy.
The con side is, the fabric of the bag is thin, as it has to be to make the package so compact. Its not the same material as the regular Chico bags. It seems pretty puncture resistant, but not abrasion resistant. I let my 4 year old carry some school supplies in for me and he let the bag drag on the pavement for a few steps. That was enough to wear a small hole in the bottom. The good news is that the hole isn't fraying out or getting bigger, but I'll still have to be careful with how much I load in the bag now.Nice, sturdy little bags By Johnny P
Seem to be well made. Yes, they get wrinkled up--that's because they get jammed into such a tight space. I imagine they will be big enough to carry the few extras we will pick up now and then throughout our trip to Europe. I would give five stars except the handles use two layers of fabric and the lower section is not secured to the bag which causes it to flap about. Not sure I like that. This is a durable well made bag that more people should be using instead of polluting the earth with billions and billion of plastic bags, but as it stands were on a road to hell when it comes to trash and not much care to recycle or do anything much about the huge ongoing trash problem.
But, buy this bag on their main site or somewhere else, because it's cheaper on their main site or somewhere else.
