A Perfect Lap Case for the Alienware M11X By Timothy M. Richmond
I bought this case as a companion for my Alienware M11x. I use it in my car at at soccer practice to play games. Scoot the seat all the way back, upzip it and open up and you have a self-contained lapdesk for the M11x. It is great to transport too, looks like a binder with a handle on the neck and a detachable shoulder strap. It even has a clever mesh area so the cooling fan still works when using as a lapdesk. The black material doesn't scratch the notebook. On the outside is a mesh pocket to hold the power supply. There are several places for papers inside the case. There are corner wedges to hold the laptop in the case and a velcro strechable strap that secures the laptop when not in use. It has a nice Alienware head and swirl pattern design. Inside the case is a hard divider built in that keeps the laptop safe. I highly recommend this case and this laptop for on-the-go.

I was a little skeptical at first when I bought this case at first because there were some negative reviews. This case is perfect for the m11x which makes sense since it was designed for it. It holds the computer in place and even has a pouch on the back to hold the charger which I rarely use because this computer has amazing battery life. What I really like about this case is that when you are using the computer you can flip the top around the back so that the case forms a triangle which helps prop the computer up and allows room for ventilation. A lot of people are complaining that this case is useless... it's a CASE to hold your computer which is what it is doing. It's not supposed to be able to hold anything else (besides some papers and a pen) which is perfect because I use it to carry my computer with me to school or a cafe etc.. and it's not too bulky. If you want something that can hold your laptop as well as everything but the kitchen sink then go and buy a full sized bag and stop complaining >__< .It's called a PORTFOLIO, not a CASE By Micaela
This product is excellent, and works exactly as intended. People are giving it a 1-star rating, saying it's a just a fancy portfolio and doesn't hold all their accessories... good observation! It's a portfolio! While it doesn't have room for a mouse, it has an external pocket for the power supply. Overall, brilliant product, perfect for use on the go, small enough to fit in another bag but big enough to hold some papers, or to carry on its own. Adds practically no extra weight or bulk to the laptop. Here's a tip: when using it as a lapdesk, fold it over to allow use of the power supply. it makes a triangle-like shape that allows the fan to still cool through the vent. :) Love this product, would pay even more for it! :D
